There's no getting around the fact that reading highlights from panels such as those held in Hall H last night just is not the same as actually being there. Well, regardless of why you couldn't make it to the San Diego Comic-Con this year, we now have the next best thing for you. Thanks to GeekTyrant, we now have recordings of both the Man of Steel and Marvel Studios panels which took place last night. Don't get TOO excited, as there is obviously none of the footage which was shown here, but these make for a very interesting watch nonetheless.

DC just keeps dragging their feet on movies. Scoreboard, 4 movies to 1.
CherryBomb - 7/15/2012, 9:10 AM
I really do wish Lois was a brunette :(
maybe she'll get a dye job halfway through :D

spectre88 - 7/15/2012, 9:15 AM
Good panel but bon't bother watching if you are just looking for the Ant Man test footage or Iron Man 3 teaser, Marvel cut it out of the video =(
Bane - 7/15/2012, 9:15 AM
@CherryBomb, where did that picture come from?!
SuperSomething616 - 7/15/2012, 9:15 AM
DAMN!!! I wanna see the footage!!!
nuclearpriest - 7/15/2012, 9:15 AM
Good Lord! Do I really have to see the trailer for Hitman:Absolution every time I click on a Goddamned clip? I must have seen this damned thing 50 times and I still don't give a shit about it! Give us a break!
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 9:16 AM
Marvel wins again!
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 9:17 AM
@magic8

That's like saying Disney has more to think about than just superhero movies. It doesn't stop them from putting a competent person like Feige in charge of their properties.
Tainted87 - 7/15/2012, 9:19 AM
RDJ is awesome sauce
xfan320 - 7/15/2012, 9:21 AM
I NEED FOOTAGE!!!

OR AN ANSWER TO MY QUESTION AT LEAST!!!

DOES ANYONE KNOW IF JIMMY OLSEN IS IN THE MOVIE???

AND IF SO, WHO'S PLAYING HIM???

I haven't seen or heard anything about him.
Dynamo - 7/15/2012, 9:21 AM
As much as I'm excited to see all those Marvel movies, nothings touching my excitement for Man of Steel after seeing the footage...
CyberBishop - 7/15/2012, 9:22 AM
Yeah.. saw all of these already on youtube with no ant man footage..
sKeemAn - 7/15/2012, 9:23 AM
RDJ is playing himself in Tony Stark awesome casting. Ego is too big for the room
gillri - 7/15/2012, 9:24 AM
compared to MoS, the idea of Iron Man 3 and an Antman film seem pretty lame
Ric - 7/15/2012, 9:24 AM
hahahah nice entrance by Downey Jr. kudos to him ^^
Caveboy0 - 7/15/2012, 9:24 AM
snyder looked really nervous. i've never seen him at comic con panels so maybe he's always like that on stage, but he seemed to struggle to find the words. i kind of worry he might have a lack of vision to some of it. idk trailer sounds great though.
Dynamo - 7/15/2012, 9:27 AM
@caveboy0
Snyder is always really awkward in interviews. I can't imagine him talking to Chris Nolan who is always very well spoken...
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 9:29 AM
@Caveboy0

I wouldn't be surprised. I think Snyder is a one trick pony who basically made the movie Nolan wanted.
EastcoastAvenger - 7/15/2012, 9:31 AM
That dude crying was hysterical!!!
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 9:34 AM
Prediction:

Iron Man 3 PWNS Man of Steel/Superman Begins
CharlesTheIncredible - 7/15/2012, 9:45 AM
All of the footage is gonna pop up somewhere.
Diomedes - 7/15/2012, 9:49 AM
WOW @cherrybomb gud find.. gud heavens cavill really nailed the clark kent look in that pic!! :O

DarthTesla - 7/15/2012, 9:52 AM
Wanted to watch all of these, until I had to watch that god damn Hitman trailer for the 400th time.
Dynamo - 7/15/2012, 9:54 AM
@RamonSaurez:
I need to see footage for Iron Man 3 first, but it wouldn't surprise me. But I do think MOS will surprise a lot of people and I think it'll be better than Thor: The Dark World...
CherryBomb - 7/15/2012, 9:55 AM
The pic I posted was just an edit, sorry to disappoint guys!

ceramyctyle - 7/15/2012, 9:56 AM
Here it is guys, leaked teaser! Warning, VERY poor quality.

JDUKE25 - 7/15/2012, 9:57 AM
Man of Steel will own the box office next year. Iron Man 3 isn't sounding too good to me. It'll definitely pull in a lot of money though.
Joker08 - 7/15/2012, 9:59 AM
Fcuk Hitman forever.
JredTheRed - 7/15/2012, 10:07 AM
all those cameras and no footage for Antman and IM3 online yet?
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:07 AM
RDJ is so awesome. Watching this footage offers a perfect example of why Marvel Studios is so winning. They know how to give the fans what they want. Its why we will back them up to the end.
angus666 - 7/15/2012, 10:09 AM
@Cherrybomb At least we know that Cavill will pull off the look now. Man Of Steel is definitely my most anticipated.
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:12 AM
@Dynamo

I think Antman will actually be better than MOS. Mark it down. It has a better director (Wright), a better writer (Cornish), and villain (Ultron). If people can get their heads out their asses about Antman's powers they'll see what a dope project Wright and Cornish have crafted for him.
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:13 AM
@magic8

Actually, Geoff Johns had a say in the Green Lantern film...he was an executive producer so....
JDUKE25 - 7/15/2012, 10:14 AM
I'm really looking forward to see how Thor: The Dark World will be.
CBMJamie - 7/15/2012, 10:14 AM
how do you embed a poll into an article?
m0th3r - 7/15/2012, 10:16 AM
Im not a fanboy of either side, but clearly Marvel is winning. Personal opinions aside, just the line-up, the fresh material, and the enthusiasm seems to win overwhelmingly. Someone said WB is not in Superhero biz, and this is true, maybe they should consider a "DC Studios" that does. If, and the trailer looks good, MOS bombs in any way...They are done until the next rotation of Batman. GL was horrible, the JL movie cost them money last time and it never got off ground, and WB execs are super tentative about any project outside of bats and supers..and if this one strikes out like SR did...Supes will be out too. Just because someone else has a great idea, Marvel Studios Phase 1-2-3, doesnt mean u cant adopt that plan. Hell, if the enemy general invented Flanking..would u not use it. There seems to be more ego and fanboy mentality at the top of the WB food chain then here in this forum. Dont frak this up WB..i want flash, ww, a good gl, and Justice League..
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:17 AM
LOL @ at the Superman/DC fanboys who are so eager to eat up any bit of information on MOS that they lapped up a photoshopped pic. Jesus people. Calm down. If you needed anymore proof that you're grasping at anything to like this was it.
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:22 AM
Haha, even the "Space Raccoon" was actual concept art, dummy.

It wasn't someone in their mom's basement pasting Cavill's head on Tom Welling's body.
Beatnation - 7/15/2012, 10:22 AM
@RamonSuarez, Dude stop the hate for DC can't you enjoy all the superhero movies?, morons like you should get not allowed to comment in this page.
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:25 AM
I mean, I know its hard for DC fanboys to have to wait and wait and wait for art on a movie they already believe will be awesome when the people at camp Nolan don't a give a shit about feeding their curiosity, but c'mon here people. Don't go swallowing every piece of fanart out there as if it were real. Show that you have SOME taste and standards.
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:25 AM
LOL. Only a dolt thinks 300, Dawn of the Dead, Watchmen or Suckerpunch are better than Shawn of the Dead, Hot Fuzz, or Scott Pilgrim vs. the World.

First off, Wright actually wrote and directed his movies. Snyder worked off of scripts written for him. Second, Snyder's work is way less original since it is based off of remakes and adaptation of previously published stuff. Third, when Snyder did write and direct his shit we got a real piece of garbage like Suckerpunch.

So, in closing, Wright >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Snyder
JDUKE25 - 7/15/2012, 10:28 AM
@Ramon dude, chill. People get excited seeing new pics or anything that has to do with a movie they're excited for, DC or Marvel. Seriously, you're criticizing comic fans for liking comic book related stuff. Stop being an ass.
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:29 AM
@Beatnation

WTF are you whining about?

I am one of the few here making sense. You are the one who hasn't contributed an original thought beyond complaining and calling me names.

I can't help it if DC is losing. Its not my fault. I didn't make their executives incompetent. I didn't make their fanboys eager little whores ready to embrace any POS they produce.
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:31 AM
@m0th3r

Here, here. We all want DC-Warner to get their shit together. But it ain't happening and until then they deserve our contempt for ruining their properties and pimping them out.
RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:36 AM
@Azazel1

300? For real? Haha. You must still be mad I booty whipped you on what constitutes an action comedy. Because you're even more deluded than I thought if you think Snyder using Frank Rodriguez's artistic vision in Sin City to produce a horrendously simplistic piece historical fiction like Frank Miller's 300 graphic novel is more imaginative, original and thoughtful than anything Wright and Cornish have ever done.

RamonSuarez - 7/15/2012, 10:38 AM
Answer me this buttsore DC fanboys: if Snyder is such a great director than why did he fail when he had to actually direct his own project - not some adaptation or a remake?

At least Wright and Cornish write and direct their own critically acclaimed work.
Oxbow - 7/15/2012, 10:38 AM
What a TEASE! Go ahead and show me the stuff baby, I promise it'll be ok. I'll still respect you
