Thanks to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Trilogy, we've seen some of Batman's most well-known villains brought to life on the big screen by some of the best actors in the world. While Batman has also faced off against a fair few gangsters (who could forget Tom Wilkinson's brilliant performance as Carmine Falcone in Batman Begins?) we've decided to keep this limited to the major villains who appeared in at various points throughout the trilogy. So, which of them came out on top as the best in your opinion? Heath Ledger may have won an Academy Award for his take on the Clown Prince of Crime in The Dark Knight, but are Ra's Al Ghul or Bane more to your liking? How about Two-Face, Scarecrow or Miranda Tate Talia Al Ghul?! Here's your chance to decide...

Got the feelign this will be The Joker in a run away.
JustDame - 7/24/2012, 1:11 PM
Basically a poll for 3rd place. Pretty sure it'll be Joker then Bane then everyone else.
JustDame - 7/24/2012, 1:11 PM
And I have no problem with that.
JustDame - 7/24/2012, 1:12 PM
4th place rather. Eckhart as Dent was fantastic.
blazebyrne - 7/24/2012, 1:13 PM
All six were fantastic. Gotta give it to Ledger's Joker though. Masterful performance.
Asterisk - 7/24/2012, 1:14 PM
I picked Bane. :/ Sorry guys.
TheSoulEater - 7/24/2012, 1:14 PM
This is a question? Joker
TrueRedBlue - 7/24/2012, 1:16 PM
Why So Serious?
superotherside - 7/24/2012, 1:17 PM
IDK. Haven't seen TDKR yet. :(
BarnaclePete - 7/24/2012, 1:17 PM
I don't know if I would say Joker was better tha Bane. They are so different, it's hard to compare. I like both for entirely different reasons.
valeriesghost - 7/24/2012, 1:20 PM
^^^same here. But i gotta give it to Joker, the first time i saw the movie i was scared everytime he was in a scene. I wasn't as scared of Bane.
valeriesghost - 7/24/2012, 1:20 PM
the above was meant for barnaclepete

I loved the Joker, I believe everyone did and they were shocked with the performance. There was something about Tom Hardy though, his intensity was overwhelming in such a great way. It too difficult too say one was better than the other its like night and day.
DrRockso - 7/24/2012, 1:23 PM
Darth Bane was the shit
DrRockso - 7/24/2012, 1:25 PM
I know how he got those scars...Jake Gyllenhaal chewed on his face.
IronTwigg - 7/24/2012, 1:25 PM
The poll should have been who was your second favourite villain
deadpool123 - 7/24/2012, 1:25 PM
BANE
TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM - 7/24/2012, 1:26 PM
Joker was cool, but the most threatening of The Dark Trilogy, given his pedigree, plan, and heir, It's the Demon's Head.

wow just look at the rogues we got to see. such an amazing trilogy.
Supes17 - 7/24/2012, 1:31 PM
Ok, here's a better poll...
Who was your SECOND favorite villain :P

TheOmegaOne - 7/24/2012, 1:32 PM
Talia was my favorite=D
Tom Hardy did a great job as Bane so I gave it to him as the second best villain of the series behind The Joker of course.
AsianVersionOfET - 7/24/2012, 1:32 PM
Bane for me. Tom Hardy was simply amazing. Joker is a very close second with Ra's al Ghul in third!
SKetCH - 7/24/2012, 1:33 PM
That's a damn good lookin' cast of villains.

Seein' them all like that is amazing.
Supes17 - 7/24/2012, 1:33 PM
SPOILERS
I got to see this....

I left the theater satisfied LMAO
SageMode - 7/24/2012, 1:33 PM
Two-Face was pretty much the only villain that was done right, and he had the greatest impact from any others in the Nolan films.
TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM - 7/24/2012, 1:35 PM
*Dark Knight Trilogy.

Is CBM acting slow/glitchy with any of you too?
CaptainObvious - 7/24/2012, 1:36 PM
Joker.
MiracleMe - 7/24/2012, 1:36 PM
As if there could be any doubt as to who will come out on top of this poll.

"Why so serious?"
dmm5 - 7/24/2012, 1:36 PM
Where's Catwoman? :'( lol
Supes17 - 7/24/2012, 1:38 PM
"Ra's al Ghul: If someone stands in the way of true justice, you simply walk up behind them and stab them in the heart."

Thats what Talia tried to do... Damn Batsuit protecting vital organs smh
:P
Fxrank - 7/24/2012, 1:40 PM
Obviously the Joker, I don't think a poll is necessary
JDUKE25 - 7/24/2012, 1:40 PM
1: Joker
2: Ra's
3: Bane
4: Two-Face
5: Scarecrow
6: Talia
PINO - 7/24/2012, 1:42 PM
This is tough. The Joker, Two-Face, Ra's al Ghul, and Bane were all great. I think the Joker beats the competition though, due to Heath Ledger's amazing performance and because he's always been Batman's primary antagonist.

Least favorite is Scarecrow. I didn't like how they made the character into a running gag.
worldbreaker - 7/24/2012, 1:46 PM
i wonder why two-face was handled so directly from the comicbooks, that wasnt nolan's typical trademark "realism". dent would've died of exposure, his uncovered eye wouldve quickly dried out and gone white. he shouldve had a horrible drooling problem and had a lot of trouble forming words....i changed my mind i like two-face the most, he didn't get nolanized
Optimus83 - 7/24/2012, 1:48 PM

The Joker, obviusly. ...Why so serious???
darkknight2149 - 7/24/2012, 1:51 PM
You forgot Victor Zsaz.
TheGambitFreakIsBatmanOfCBM - 7/24/2012, 1:52 PM
@Uncliche What about Mark Hamill? Mask of the Phantasm.
DoomXfactor - 7/24/2012, 1:54 PM
Of course the Joker but I voted for Harvey Dent/Two-face. I thought his performance deserved more attention
AsianVersionOfET - 7/24/2012, 2:06 PM
"You merely adopted the dark. I was born in IT. Molded by IT..."
LP4 - 7/24/2012, 2:11 PM
[frick] this is a tough one guys. But here it goes-

Joker
Bane
Two Face
Ras Al Ghul

Talia Al Ghul
Zsaz

"Sold! ... to the man in the cold sweat ..."
siggisuperman - 7/24/2012, 2:18 PM
So many villains... I will forever be grateful for that Nolan. We also got to see Zsaz and I believe the sniper guy who was bane's right hand man might have been deadshot
TimeTravelMonkey - 7/24/2012, 2:20 PM
idk its a tough one but i would go for bane he was just soo menacing, but joker is still up there
btw how did bruce injure his leg in the beginning of dark knight rises
PapaMidnight - 7/24/2012, 2:22 PM
Joker is one of the most iconic villains of ALL TIME, not only of Batman's/DC universe. And Heath's perfomance entered in the history of cinema as one of the best.
marvel72 - 7/24/2012, 2:28 PM
ra's al ghul was okay,i don't really like the character but he was good in batman begins.

liked the scarecrow in batman begins, didn't like him in the dark knight.

the joker was good as well, two face was good but under used.

haven't seen bane or talia al ghul so i can't really judge them.

1st scarecrow
2nd the joker
3rd two face
4th ra's al ghul
5th bane
6th talia al ghul
95 - 7/24/2012, 2:28 PM
After much thought: Two-Face. I liked Aaron Eckhart's performance and the Shakespearean-level tragedy aspect to how the character was written. He was my favorite villain.

Of course, like many, I was The Joker for Halloween in 2008. Definitely the most popular favorite, but in the end, Two-Face had the most emotional impact for me in the entire trilogy.

@TheGambitFreak I got to agree with your points. Ra's al Ghul was the master villain of the trilogy.
worldbreaker - 7/24/2012, 2:30 PM
monkeyballs3- i didnt mean instantly, but yes that much exposure especially on his face would cause a lot of other problems. probably not nearly as much if they dressed the wound, but they didn't. this kind of sounds like i'm trying to argue that batman wasn't realistic, which i'm not. dent was just the least realistic from a medical perspective
MovieMann - 7/24/2012, 2:30 PM
The Joker

Bane close second
worldbreaker - 7/24/2012, 2:31 PM
and i'm not a doctor, i just play one on tv :p
