COMICS: Jock Unveils Awesome HIT-GIRL #3 Variant Cover
Mark Millar and John Romita Jr.'s Hit-Girl gets another fantastic variant cover in September, this time courtesy of superstar artist Jock (who recently came up with an incredible Mondo poster for The Dark Knight Rises).
Thanks to Comic Book Resources, we have a first look at Jock's variant cover for Hit-Girl #3. Talking to the site, writer Mark Millar had this to say about enlisting the artist to lend his talents to the series (following on from Dave Johnson, Phil Noto and Leandro Fernandez). "Jock has done one for issue #3 that is just spectacular. I'm a massive fan of Jock's and just to see someone that's so good who you'd never expect to do this draw your character is really fun." Check it out below, and be sure to sound off with your thoughts in the usual place!
So many goons, so little time. Hit-Girl’s got both hands full when her sidekick Kick-Ass gets benched, leaving her to take the mafia on solo. But when her secret crime-fighting binge brings heat to the wrong guy, even Hit-Girl may be in over her head. Meanwhile, Red Mist gets sent where all rich kids go to do penance!
