Since spider-island, ASM is fun to read, especially END of the Earth where the Avengers fight the Sinister Six,
the new story with the Lizard is cool to.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't Frank Castle kill Stilt Man a few years back with a rocket launcher? There was even a funeral as well.

Also, when did it become the norm for every friggin Marvel comic to have a variant cover or two each issue. Back in the day, yeah, special event may have more than one cover. But that was a big deal. Now there seem to be more covers than story pages.

^there's a gross abundance and inflation of media of all types. and it just keeps getting more and more. it seems that the "powers that be" look at things like, "well hey, consumers are buying this one thing here. hmm...i know, lets exploit the hell out of it." #notquiteyetjaded

@Jimoakley
I said that same thing on the last Daredevil comic thread!!! I thought stilt man was killed by Castle not long after the civil war stint right? either way i know i have that issue, so maybe its a new stilt man? anyways, just glad someone else said it!

I always thought Dr Conners lost his right arm but in The Amazing Spiderman pages up there he's missing his left arm. Did I miss something?
rbfn04 - 8/11/2012, 10:37 AM
So, now the Hulk is the "good" guy and Banner is the crazy scientist. Same thing with the Lizard? Lizard is cool, but Connors is crazy?

Daredevil been on point for a long time.
rbfn04 - 8/11/2012, 10:47 AM
@hope420. Yep. while trying to go bck to being the Lizard, he had success in regrowing his arm. So he would raise any suspicious to what he was really doing, he'd cut off his regrown arm.

Being in a hurry once, he cut off the wrong arm.
hope420 - 8/11/2012, 11:56 AM
@rbfn04 Thank you I was confused. I collected comics from the early 80'S till about 2004 and in the last year I started again so I missed out on a few major stories.
FriendlyNeighborhoodSpidey - 8/11/2012, 12:36 PM
@rbfn04 Seriously? Or are you just kidding? He cut off the wrong arm? Hahaha that's kinda funny.
rbfn04 - 8/11/2012, 2:08 PM
@hope420 no biggie, man. Glad I could help.

@Spidey no kidding. It's how they found out he was up to something.
marvel72 - 8/12/2012, 7:47 AM
two extremely cool looking books.
ScionStorm - 8/12/2012, 3:32 PM
Were those two lizard people kissing? I wonder what french kissing is like with lizard tongues. First cover is awesome. I have no idea what's going on in the second cover though.

Stiltman is one of those characters that could actually benefit from a Marvel Now! redesign...
XxSnakeProxX - 8/13/2012, 5:05 AM
wtf! Punisher killed Stiltman, why the hell they did bother bringing back this D-List villain?? Marvel is getting ridiculous with these resurrections.
