The biggest comics event of the summer hits it’s red hot penultimate chapter as Marvel is pleased to present your first look at Avengers VS. X-Men #11! From the creative tour de force of Brian Michael Bendis & Olivier Coipel, the Avengers gather together to take on the remaining hosts of the Phoenix Force with the aid of Charles Xavier! Can the combined might of Earth’s Mightiest, Professor Xavier, the Scarlet Witch, Hope and more put an end to their reign once and for all?

I'm really wondering how all this is going to end, I'm almost sure it will have a mind[frick]ing plot twist at it's climax in issue 12, also I wonder if Emma or Scott will die, or both?

I just finished reading issue #10.I'm glad to see Coipel is back to art duties on this book.I think the person who is going to die is between Hope,Emma,and Prof. X.I hope Emma dies.

Seriously Scott is the one character that needs to die from all of this and I hope its either Wolverine or Captain America that kills him.

I agree,Coipel is a great artist.Coipel should be doing monthly art duties on an X-Men or Avengers book.

COIPEL is just plain Epic! He has a great story telling ability and his images are so cinematic. I hope he does some monthly books...Maybe deadpool FTW!

Read a statement Bendis made that part of the appeal to bringing the original Jean Grey to the present was to see the way Wolverine and Cyclops would react with her around, so Cyke ain't dying.

i feel the Jean/Scott/Emma/Logan dynamic is too much opportunity for writers... and a comic book could never resist a tagline like "HOPE IS DEAD""

Copiel was great in Thor, wish he would come back to it and do it regularly like i wish mcniven woulda stayed with the new cap series! The only artist i wish was penciling this series (ever good series really) is jim cheung who does all the covers. He is probably my favorite artist at marvel right now but there are quite a few that are up there for me. I would love to see him and either fraction, brubaker or bendis team up on a title

@ralfinader Really?! COOL! I didn't want Cyclops to die. I think i'm one of the few that don't hate him. So I'm thinking Emma Frost might die near the end.

^After they phucked up Spider-Man in issue 10, i think. Spidey played them and they basically fought each other, I guess. It was only one panel and the next page Cyclops became God. :/ Good comic though.

Bendis sucks, and eff Marvel for making the XMen the bad guys in this when they said it wasn't gonna be like that. This is exactly what they did on Civil War.

Dont you think youre being way too overly critical? Do you have anything good to say about any comic run? I mean none of them are perfect, theres always something to nitpick at but goodness dude, ease up. Those arent the only titles fraction has done, and Bendis has done some of the best avengers stuff in a long time. Just because fear itself suked or one or two titles didnt do well that doesnt completely fall on one persons shoulders. Fear itself was the combination of a lot of things, a lot that needed to be touched on, theres more going on that you dont know about. And mcniven is a great artist, check out old man logan or the first issues of cap or nemesis. Cheung isnt a slow artist he did secret warriors and young avengers at the same time while doing a lot of cover art. I think you need to stop being so overly critical

Please, someone tell me that Jean Grey (not the older version from the past shot into the future with the rest of the OGs) Comes back, claims the Force, kills Scott, and is on with her day.

I can't be the only one that wants this...
