COMICS: Fourth ALL-NEW X-MEN #1 Excerpt Revealed; "...Half The Mutants Dead..."

"A fight like this will end in half the mutants dead and half the world hating us..." The latest excerpt Brian Michael Bendis and Stuart Immonen's All-New X-Men #1 features an angry Storm as Marvel continues to tease the post-Avengers Vs. X-Men Marvel Universe.

Monday's All-New X-Men #1 teaser featured Beast seemingly undergoing yet another mutation (if you missed it, you can find it by clicking HERE) and Tuesday's saw him and a few of his fellow team-mates reflecting on the events of Avengers Vs. X-Men (find it by clicking HERE). Yesterday saw the release of a third teaser that featured Iceman complaining to Storm and Kitty Pryde (find it by clicking HERE), while the latest sees a clearly angry Storm doing the same! While Marvel NOW! has so far seemed to be a fresh start for the X-Men, things clearly aren't going well for them - could the fight she's talking about have something to do with Cyclops?! so what do we do after AVX. who will be the bad guy ?
IDK. hmm i can't think of anything except lets switch out Xavier and Magneto for Cyclops and Wolverine. And the main reason they fight is because Wolverine wants to bang Jean but she is married and loves Scott. It's perfect. Cyclops will be the bad guy because wolverine is a fan favorite and it will hurt marketing. Yeah Cyclops will be the new Magneto. Nuff Said.

I actually like the art.

And people need to stop complaining about Cyclops. He's always been a whiny punk.
Becoming a villain was the most interesting thing he could do at this point.

And yes AvX was garbage. It was so one sided. The X-Men were villains in their own books WTF ?
I don't like that Bendis is writing the X-Men now after what he's done to them, so I'm not getting my hopes up for this book. I'll still check it out though.

I liked AvX for the first couple of issues (escpecially the New avengers tie-ins), but yeah X men got [frick]ed over and made Cyclops one of the most hated heroes among comic book fans. As being a fan of Cyclops from the 90's and see his steadily decline since New Xmen, I am pissed. I do hope Marvel Now can redeem Cyclops reputation among fans.
