In the second kooky instalment of Kevin Shinick's (Robot Chicken) guest stint on Avenging Spider-Man, we see Spidey battling alongside Deadpool as they take on Hypno-Hustler! Sounds strange? Well, it really is! Hit the jump for a first look at the issue.

The last issue (part 1 of this) was mt book of the year so hopefully this'll be just as good.

Every time I see art posted here from a Marvel or DC comic I think theyve reach their all time low.
Then another article is posted with even worse art.
That stuff looks like it was drawn by some kid in middle school, because he dreams of one day drawing for Marvel.
Well now Marvel has fallen so far from the standards they once had that maybe middle school kids are doing the art.

But not only does this make their comics uninteresting, who now would dream of drawing for Marvel?
The quality is gone.
The Prestige is gone.
Maybe drawing for Marvel is a minimum wage job. A guy works in Fast Food, walks out, applies at Marvel, draws Spider-Man, walks out, works at Wendy's quits, goes to DC Comics-quits and finds a more prestigious job bagging groceries.

This comic is supposed to be fun. Coupled with Deadpool, it's mega-fun. Why NOT have Hypno-Hustler??

I'll never understand how people can think comic art, such as this, is bad. It just astounds me, maybe standards are too damn high. No matter what, I hold the utmost respect for (most) comic artists who have the ability to tell a story through pictures, which is more difficult than it sounds. Just because some artwork is different doesn't make it bad. However, Hypno-Hustler? I don't know man...

not sure about hypo hustler but the last issue was real fun seeing deadpool and spidey go back and forth so I'm gonna pick it up :)

I don't get what people are complaining about. I don't think the art is bad.

If you don't have a problem with MODOK or Luke Cage's tiara then you shouldn't be complaining about Hypno Hustler. Not all villains can be Venom. Nothing wrong with a mind-control criminal with a flare for the 80's.

In response to the recent rants from fans on comic art, I think we all have to remember that the point of comics is STORY TELLING. Comic art is redundant if everyone just wanted their comics to look realistic [otherwise they would better off being movies]. The artist's visual style is important to tell their story.
