COMICS: Marvel Announces All-New GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY And NOVA Series
Next February will see the launch of Brian Michael Bendis and Steve McNiven's Guardians of the Galaxy. The twist? Iron Man will be a member of the team! Meanwhile, it has been confirmed that Jeph Loeb and Ed McGuinness will team-up for a new Nova series featuring Sam Alexander.
Revealed at the New York Comic Con today, next February will see the release of Guardians of the Galaxy #0.1 from the creative team of Brian Michael Bendis (Avengers) and Steve McNiven (Old Man Logan). The first issue will then follow in March. The roster is the same of that of James Gunn's planned adaptation (Starlord, Groot, Rocket Racoon, Drax, Gamora), but with one notable addition - Iron Man. February will also see the launch of a brand new Nova series by Jeph Loeb (Avengers: X-Sanction) and Ed McGuinness (Superman/Batman). The teenage Sam Alexander from Avengers Vs. X-Men will be behind the mask.
