COMICS: Marvel Unveils Skottie Young's "Li'l Marvel" AGE OF ULTRON #1 Variant Cover

The popularity of these "Li'l Marvel" variants by Skottie Young means that they're no longer only being used for the new "Marvel NOW!" #1 issues. Marvel has commissioned Skottie Young to provide his unique take on upcoming event book, Age of Ultron. Check it out!

This completely invalidates any kind of emotional resonance the story might have. These covers are dumb.

Skottie Young is a genius. One of the most entertaining and talented cartoonists since Bill Watterson. Marvel is lucky to have him on board, and as a retailer, I love lining up all these covers on a wall ;)

Heck, even his recent DEATHSTROKE cover was pretty wicked...though not even Justin Jordan's writing can make me care all that much about the New 52 :/

Not everyone is smitten with Skottie Young. Marvel, please stop hiring this guy, or at least add variant covers with the stick figures I draw.
