Jeff Parker's Thunderbolts has been one of the most consistently great comic books on the stands each and every month. The writer took over the series with issue #138 at the beginning of "The Heroic Age" in 2009 and the title was brought under the Avengers family of titles last year when it was re-branded Dark Avengers. Well, after 52 issues, his run comes to an end with #190; billed as the final issue in Marvel's May 2013 solicitations. You can read an interview I did with Parker a few years back by clicking HERE. Sound off with your thoughts on this news in the usual place!

• FINAL ISSUE!
• The secret of the dark Earth are revealed!
• Who will live? Who will die? Will anyone get back to Earth alive?
• Jeff Parker wraps up his acclaimed run on Earth’s Deadliest Heroes!

I don't mind the writing but I still wish it was called "Thunderbolts". Not many 3rd or 4th level titles last as long as this one has so... I'm just being nitpicky. Story is still really solid.

not suprising. the book was shit. he F'd up the Thunderbolts then preceeded to F'up the Dark Avengers. hopefully Marvel gets rid of this guy.

Never read it. I wanted to, but at $4 a book, you can't read everything.
