Thanks to IGN, we have a first look at the gatefold cover for Animal Man #19. They don't mention the artist responsible for this one, although the solicitations for April originally promised a fold-out cover from Before Watchmen: Ozymandias artist Jae Lee (that can be found by clicking HERE).



• As Animal Man's popularity grows, the paparazzi follow him everywhere. But is there one place he wishes they just wouldn't go?

Poor Cliffy. Dig the cover but wish we woulda got the Jae Lee one instead.

This is nothing surprising. I mean, come on, folks who picked up the last issue would have known the death of his son already...how in any way would you say that this could be a WTF moment? LAME!

I really dug this series at the first issue. Now it's kind of lost it's luster.
