COMICS: John Ostrander To Take Over AQUAMAN From Geoff Johns For May's Issue #20
Geoff Johns' epic run on Green Lantern may be nearing its end, but he thankfully isn't going anywhere for the time being when it comes to Aquaman. However, the writer WILL be taking a break next month. In his place will be veteran John Ostrander! Read on for details.
It was announced yesterday by DC Comics that the regular Aquaman creative team of Geoff Johns and Paul Pelletier will be taking a break next month. This means that the publisher obviously needed to find a replacement for them and that will be writer John Ostrander, along with artists Manuel Garcia and Sandra Hope for a fill-in issue which will put the spotlight on The Others. "In this issue, as the Scavenger compiles more Atlantean weaponry and artifacts, Aquaman enlists the aid of The Others to help find one missing relic in the Southwestern United States before his enemies can get to it. The issue also introduces a new member of the Others," reads the updated description of the issue. Johns' comments on returning in June and the new cover (by regular artist Pelletier) can be found below. How do you feel about this news?
