BlackCondor - 6/26/2013, 6:10 PM
We already know they won't succeed . Pointless

I might buy it, I'm a big Star Wars fan but I've never read any of the comics.
Bread - 6/26/2013, 6:12 PM

DioFoRio - 6/26/2013, 6:22 PM
those pencils are noice!!!! I don't like my Darth Vader spry like and shit, cuz then I feel like he was just going through the motions in episodes 4,5 and 6. Is this the first Marvel book or this still dark horse?
Wingding - 6/26/2013, 6:22 PM
Sweet! I've followed this since the first issue. It's a great series.
xNightwingx - 6/26/2013, 6:33 PM
@Wingding, I think this is the first issue. I think you are talking about the Star Wars comic that takes place after Epidode IV. It has Luke, Leia, Han, and Chewie in it.
Howlett - 6/26/2013, 6:37 PM
nice art :D

@JediRob... he just jumped to the side of a boulder.
CyberBishop - 6/26/2013, 7:14 PM

Triptheorist - 6/26/2013, 7:15 PM
Glad to see Dark Horse still squeezing out all the Star Wars goodness while they still can.
GLprime2814 - 6/26/2013, 7:20 PM

Wingding - 6/26/2013, 7:45 PM
@xNightwingx

Nah, I was talking about the Dark Times series of comics as a whole. This is the first issue in the newest story arc, yes, but the series has been going on since 2006.

SnapperCarr - 6/26/2013, 9:02 PM
this is meh
PsychoManiacJacky - 6/26/2013, 9:46 PM
It's called "Force Jump" not flying, idiot @JediRob. Especially for someone with "Jedi" in their name, such a disgrace.
Melkaticox - 6/26/2013, 10:08 PM
@FullMetalJacky Giving it a different name doesn't make it original.
xNightwingx - 6/26/2013, 10:15 PM
@Wingding Ahhhhhh, I got ya. Just #1 on the cover. Didn't know they started over for new storylines.
MarcusStrong85 - 6/26/2013, 10:27 PM
This is gonna be good!
ANIMUS84 - 6/26/2013, 10:38 PM
Oh Geez, they're still carrying this torch. It seems like an entire trilogy happened between episodes 4 and 5.
PsychoManiacJacky - 6/26/2013, 10:54 PM
@Melkaticox

Giving what a bloody different name. USING FORCE JUMP IS NOT FLYING YOU IDIOT. The definition of flying and the absolute definition of anything that defines "The Force" IS DIFFERENT!

http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Force_Jump - "Force Jump, also known as Force Leap, used the Force to augment the user's natural leaping ability. Force-users adept in this technique could perform awe-inspiring vertical/horizontal leaps with impunity".

"Using the Force to enhance one's jumping ability was one of the most commonly used Force powers by Force-users throughout history. The height to which a user could jump varied depending on skill level and physique"
MCMLXXXII - 6/26/2013, 10:59 PM
@DioFoRio exactly! i find this agility disturbing.. it makes it look like he had a bad back in the original trilogy or something..
druzod2501 - 6/26/2013, 11:58 PM
I'm more a fan of Vader in the EU than the main canon. I mean c'mon Vader's a freakin CYBORG!!! C'mon! was that really supposed to limit his abilities? EU Vader could hold his own against the toughest of Jedi and that's what I think any Vader should've been from the start!
DrRockso - 6/27/2013, 12:23 AM
I enjoyed the Rise Of Darth Vader novel. Vader was decapitating fools n stuff
DRMidNite - 6/27/2013, 4:51 AM
It was NOT Vader's Galactic Empire. It was Palpatine's. Jeeze...
NorrinRaddical - 6/27/2013, 6:12 AM
some impressive art!
