So, this editorial really doesn't sound so stupid now, huh? In Marvel's December 2013 solicitations, it has been confirmed that Scarlet Spider will be cancelled with issue #25. That makes Wolverine & The X-Men their highest numbered series at #39, so expect it to be either relaunched or cancelled in the very near future! The cancellation of the Christopher Yost penned series will come as a huge blow to fans who enjoyed looking elsewhere for their Spidey fix following the events of the controversial Amazing Spider-Man #700 as Venom will also be brought to an end in November.

LAST DEVASTATING ISSUE!
• It’s over. Kaine did his best to be a hero. He failed.
• What about Houston?! Who lives? Who dies? Is there a place for the Scarlet Spider in this world? The answers will surprise you.
• Two years and 25 issues have led to THIS! Guest starring: MEXICO!
