Dear GOD make it STOP! Summer of 2014 can't get here fast enough. I'm not super pumped to see ASM 2 but I know that's when the real Spider-Man will finally be back.
theInvincibleMexiMan - 11/20/2013, 11:58 AM
armored bears! Probably the coolest thing to come out of Superior Spiderman
HeadPool420 - 11/20/2013, 12:00 PM
Yikes Marvel!!! Why?!
HeadPool420 - 11/20/2013, 12:02 PM
In a couple months Slott will make Spider Ock have Electros powers then a few months later he will become the Superior Ock Goblin! I guess Slott has a man crush on Doc Ock!
Nomis - 11/20/2013, 12:03 PM
It used to be well known that the second "Clone Saga" of the 90s was the worst Spiderman story arc in history.

Well, when I think it's all said and done...Superior Spidercrap will replace that title.

hommytoffman - 11/20/2013, 12:10 PM
You know I just started reading Superior Spider-Man a few days ago only because there's so much hate out there for it. Am I insane to say I don't hate it so far? I'm only 4 or 5 issues deep but it's got me hooked a little bit, I wanna see where this is going.
Mrsinister - 11/20/2013, 12:11 PM
Not interested
spidey23435 - 11/20/2013, 12:11 PM
Have any of you with the negative comments actually read this line? If so continue to bash your entitled to your opinion. If not give it a read, I have read it from the beginning and I was not a fan of the idea to begin with but I have really enjoyed this run. I am with all of you that I want the real Peter Parker Spiderman back but this has been a good read and a shakeup from the normal.
Ramiel - 11/20/2013, 12:11 PM
I don't get Marvel's obsession with ruining their top character. Could you imagine DC doing something like this with Batman?
Nomis - 11/20/2013, 12:16 PM
Gusto adjust your glass eye. I think it's out of focus. ;)
Mrcool210 - 11/20/2013, 12:18 PM

TheRealRemyLebeau - 11/20/2013, 12:19 PM
Why not @gusto. I thought you had story time in the back of the van ;p
quasi95 - 11/20/2013, 12:20 PM
I hate Humberto Ramos' art. Give me some more Giuseppe Camuncoli and btw idk why the hate. The hate should go on Ramos for producing shit art, thats the only thing that ticks me off from this comic.
TheRealRemyLebeau - 11/20/2013, 12:20 PM
Mrcool210 I have. Then I used it for toilet paper LOL :D

People complain about the dumbest things.

Yes, Ock in Spidey's body was not the way I would have gone, but it has been interesting.

Also, the symbiote attaching to Ock kind of makes sense. The symbiote has a past connections with Spider-Man, and can probably feel the difference, and the slightly darker Peter Parker. The symbiote may not know exactly what has changed, but it can definitely feel a difference. So yeah, it actually makes sense for it to try to bond with Ock Parker.

As for people complaining about "whats next? ock-goblin?" and whatever else you're saying? Read a comic for once, because again, if you know spidey's past mythos, this actually makes more sense than you might initially think.
staypuffed - 11/20/2013, 1:04 PM
The cover is the only good thing about this.
AmazingFantasy - 11/20/2013, 1:10 PM
Ew
SuperiorMrGod - 11/20/2013, 1:17 PM
What the hell are you doing with your comics Marvel? Seriously.
SuperiorMrGod - 11/20/2013, 1:18 PM
Comic fans are such a minority as is, why would you try to alienate your customers further with this steaming pile of crap.
TelaVizion - 11/20/2013, 1:22 PM
I like... Hope he can keep it for awhile (but most likely it'll only last for this story arc).

Got a new Lady Deathstrike, and now a new Venom... Good stuff.
tomasocelot - 11/20/2013, 1:23 PM
Haha gusto likes the pictures it makes his dementia like a acid trip
J0RELLC00LJ - 11/20/2013, 1:23 PM
I've slowly (perhaps sadly) been liking what Marvel is kinda giving Peter the "Hal Jordan treatment". It's like someone at Marvel said "As long as it sales, do what you want."

General Populace (Movie goers and action figure buying parents) in this case are used to Peter Parker Spidey, It'll revert back in some mega "end-all" "Going-Out-of-Business Sale" crossover..yada yada yada
TelaVizion - 11/20/2013, 1:26 PM
It's cute to see the amount of fake hate going around on this site
DTor91 - 11/20/2013, 1:41 PM
@TelaVizion

Yup.

I was completely against this for the longest when Superior was first announced. But I picked up the first issue over the summer. Next day, bought the first trade. It's actually really good. And no.....it will never be considered the worst Spidey arc. Just most controversial.
Ramiel - 11/20/2013, 1:47 PM
@Mrcool210 @TheFlash

It was that bad, huh? I'm surprised that I have never read it. I usually collect anything that Jim Lee is attached to.
JohnnyWellens - 11/20/2013, 1:57 PM
I am in love with this series. I never was a big Spider-Man fan in the past, I appreciated the character but I never got into the series. So while I love the series and honestly hope that Ock never stops being Spider-Man, I can completely understand why people are unhappy. For I am also a fan of...Wally West. CURSE YOU BARRY ALLEN!

So I understand where you guys are coming from. But also understand that Superior Spider-Man is hugely popular and has completely revitalized the series. I know I'll be done reading once Ock is out.
ThePowerCosmic - 11/20/2013, 1:59 PM
MrGod

What are you talking about? Marvel has been putting out some of their best stuff in years lately with Infinity, Hickmans Avengers, Waids Daredevil and the Hawkeye series. Let's not sum up all of Marvels books based on one title.
WruceBayne - 11/20/2013, 2:00 PM
Superior Spider-mans a good read. It's good to see Spider-Man do something different, instead do just throwing him on a different team and reversing the color scheme of his suit.
JohnnyWellens - 11/20/2013, 2:02 PM
It's not a shit series, it's pretty highly reviewed. Just because you don't like it, doesn't make it shit. Also, Marvel is brilliant for doing this in my opinion. Look at how much attention their series is receiving. Any publicity is good publicity is what I say.
drykillogic22 - 11/20/2013, 2:20 PM
The Spiderman Clone saga all over again..SMDH!
Havensent - 11/20/2013, 2:28 PM
