Deadpool Gets To Kick Captain America In The Nuts

Ryan Reynolds dishes out an interesting point regarding his upcoming Deadpool movie.
IESB had a rather candid interview with X-Men Origins Wolverine actor Ryan Reynolds and movie hottie Sandra Bullock at the premier of THE PROPOSAL.

Ryan: Yeah, it’s in the works. That’s about all I can really say. It’s something that they’re actually hashing out.

Sandra: It’s very top secret, though.

Ryan: It seems to be.

Q: Will you have any creative input?

Ryan: Yeah. I’m meeting with them, all the time. We’re in constant contact. It’s just a matter of breaking the spine of the story, and figuring out who it is and who’s the villain. I’m into any role in which I get to kick Captain America in the nuts.

What does this mean? Likely nothing as Deadpool is a Fox property and as all of you know Captain America is a Marvel property that will be distributed by Paramount(As I was very well informed). It would be cool to see The Merc with a Mouth kick the star spangled Avenger in the ol Nuts.

Drop down bar only has Bmp as an option :(

It would have to be a Jpg from the start. I tried finding that painting on the web but i couldn't. Who's the artist?

I think this comment means the planned release date will put it up against the release of the Captain America movie. Summer 2012 I believe.

maybe Reynolds is just bringing up something from the actual comics? did that ever happen in a comic? i wouldn't be surprised if that's all he's talking about. i'd assume this movie will be out before Cap - but I could be wrong.

He may just be referring to something he saw Deadpool do in a comic once. He seems to be a fan, and may just be alluding to how fun the character is.

I don't like ryan reynolds, it's great that he loves the character, but we all know(deep down inside) that Fox cannot and will not do a good Deadpool movie. It's not possible, just look what they did to him in wolverine, if everybody hadn't of kept calling him Deadpool would anybody recognize hm as that character? He only bore a cosmetic resemblance to the character, and that's as close as we'll ever get with fox.

I for one, hope it is a gratuitous ball shot. Picture, Deadpool meeting with Fury on the helicarrior, as they walk down the corridor to the meeting hall, Fury says something that enrages Deadpool. Instead of attacking Fury, Deadpool takes three steps and nails Captain America in his liberty bells. Cap collapses in agony, his shield spins on the floor, Deadpool hauls ass.

What a truly odd thing to say.

If he means the two movies will be competing somehow, like say, for box office take, critical acclaim, which one stays in theaters the longest or something like that, then I truly cannot imagine which one would win. Both characters are very popular.

Or if he means that one of them will show up in the other chacracter's movie well that's pretty cool but I have to say that I would hate to see the mess Cap would make out of Deadpool if he did kick him in the family jewels.

-FOX announced that the Wolverine Sequel AND the Deadpool Movie AND Spider-Man 4 would be CO-PRODUCED WITH MARVEL and the other respective studios (Fox and Sony) ??

Hopefully, this statement is more of a note that the movies will be out around the same time, and that Reynolds thinks the Deadpool movie will be more popular. In that regard, this doesn't bother me, because you want the stat of a movie to be confident that his film will be successful.

In more of a LITERAL sense, I hope we don't see this. Cap is second only to Spidey as my favorite hero, and I would find this act highly offensive, and another display of the contempt for traditional heroes that infests many modern movies, a trend of which I am beyond sick and tired.

good find on the pic Swag0fKrypt0n... deadpool is wearing the mithras armour... long explanation short an alien being is on the way to destroy earth deadpool is approached to take the role of the mithras... saviour... deadpool beats up the wrong alien... Tiamat another destined savior and takes his armour to help with the fight... cap was the back up plan if deadpool was to fail... gimmie a few and i can find the book but pretty sure he kicked cap to get him outa the way

Ok you two break it up, break it uuuuup... but honestly that was a perfect wrap for this image, nicely done, I mean its obvious the level of completion between a Marvel movie and a Fox comic movie . The Incredible Hulk was fully CGI and was far and away a better movie than any of the Fox movies as far as i am concerned. The best thing is that IT was the Hulk in all his Big green Assed in purple shorts Glory! Exactly like what we saw in the comics and it worked!!! Shibazz Love HULK movie!!!! Shaman Infamous was great, but I liked prototype even more. I own both and both are great games, but I barely was able to beat Infamous I started getting bored Prototype kept me interested all the way through to the end.

They really don't have alot in common I only compared them because everyone else feels the need to. Infamous involves all these choices and Prototype isn't about that. It's a set story that your work toward unveiling by killing people. Infmaous you get one power Prototype is about being this unstoppable tank basically. Their different, but because they were released around the same time and are open world games they get compared. If they were a year apart people wouldn't compare them.

But seriously, being an all out powerfull instoppable tank is just too much for me. It's not my thang. I like the atmosphere InFamous brings.

Your not really unstoppable you can die lol. I enjoyed Infamous, but around the end I started getting bored because you really are limited by your powers and after playing prototype it's like the things you can do are almost limitless. I mean I can just glide around the city, jump roof to roof, punch things with a rock fist, spike fist or turn my arm in to a whip, highjack tanks or helicopters or just look like someone else and trick everyone then surprise kill.

I don't understand how Deadpool is a Fox property. I mean, Marvel owns the creative rights to the character, right? Deadpool has been around Marvel Comics for years....

stupify_me: i dunno i always compare open world gameshowever far apart they come out-i wold compare GTA to InFamous (in fact i think i did somewhere above!) they really do seem kinda similar-both open world games with superpowers..! i am looking forward to the destruction in Prototype though...

stupify_me- I might give it a chance eventually. But just to compare games to make you more understand what i mean. In my book, TENCHU deserves a perfect 10 while i'd have a hard time giving a 5 to Hulk: Ultimate Destruction... Know what i'm saying? All out destruction really isn't my cup of tea. But i might still give it a shot if i ever see it used and cheap eventually.

I don't think any game every should get a perfect 10. I think think for a professional reviewer to give a 10 he has to have no integrity. Even if it's the best game ever made a 10 means it's perfect and every game is flawed and with in 5 years there will be a game that you like even better and you'll look back on that 10 and go ...opps.

I'm not at all a fan of Tenchu and I hate GTA. Personally I find GTA to be just an average game at best. Especially after the series has gone on this long the games just seem like a rinse repeat of each other.
