"Neccessary Evil" is probably Talia al Ghul's version of "True Justice".

OH MAHH GOOOOD.

Hans Zimmer is THE MAN.

I loved the Avengers but damn the soundtrack for that film was meh at best.

This will be a spectacular soundtrack. I've already heard it in the trailers and my mind was blown.

My Body is Ready Hans!

darkbeefstakes - 6/11/2012, 10:01 AM
No body else sees the upside down bird in that logo on the disc case. The beak is the thin line protruding from the rounded bottom of the bat symbol "the bird's head". The bat ears are obviously legs, why else make them so long and stick-like.

So batman kills bane. And lives? Could that be the necessary evil?
miguelus - 6/11/2012, 10:10 AM
@darkbeefstakes interesting observation, i totally didn't noticed that. but since this is a batman film, maybe it's an upside down bat...

I think we all get distracted by the potential spoilers and plot speculation, so I for would just like to say

I CANT WAIT FOR THE MOVIE!!!
SpiderFan35 - 6/11/2012, 10:36 AM
lol @ Yoss.
ISleepNow - 6/11/2012, 10:43 AM
Best soundtrack of the year
ChanchoMcGrady - 6/11/2012, 10:44 AM
"Why do we fall" makes me happy. I was really hoping they would return to that theme from the first movie. "Why do we fall?", "So we can learn to pick ourselves up", aka, "rise".
MrsTonyStark0507 - 6/11/2012, 10:56 AM
Can't even have a damn soundtrack listing without the DC/Marvel war. Just pathetic.

Yoss - You crack me up. Too funny!!
MrsTonyStark0507 - 6/11/2012, 10:58 AM
Hans Zimmer is incredible. Dark Knight is one of the most unique soundtracks out there. Right up there with Tron (extremely unique) and some John Williams greatness.
CaptainBane2012 - 6/11/2012, 11:07 AM
Where is the prologue track???
Damn you Warner!!!
Supes17 - 6/11/2012, 11:17 AM
The Track Listing are actual quotes from The Dark Knight Rises.

Just like with TDK
Examples: "Like a Dog Chasing Cars, Im not a Hero, Why So Serious, A Dark Knight"
thewonderer - 6/11/2012, 11:21 AM
The Lazarus pit is freaking stupid anyway.

I find the symbolically living forever through the passing of the title of Ras way more intriguing and logical.

I already proved that Nolans Batman is more accurate to the comic stories so haters are just sad
goatmilk - 6/11/2012, 11:31 AM
Born In Darkness gotta be Bane origins
darkmetal - 6/11/2012, 11:57 AM
Joseph Gordon Levitt will not be suiting up as Batman.
In Nolan's film, unlike the cheesy airhead DC comics, Batman is more than a costume.
He's a product of Bruce Wayne's pain and loss. Bruce chose to become his own greatest fear.
Bruce had years of training as Ra's noted Bruce's multiple martial arts styles before Ra's even trained him.
The only way Levitt's John Blake could be Batman in Nolan's film is to take Bruce's mentality from Bruce, because thats the HEART of Batman.
In DC comics Batman means nothing. You have Nightwing and others putting on the suit and becoming Batman. Hell, in DC comics Batgirl could become Batman and eventually we'll see that happen in the Fanboy coveted world of DC.
But Nolan's depiction isn't the lofty, senseless, silly world we see in DC, which is one reason we don't have Bane using Venom to become Lou Ferrigno's Hulk.
John Blake will not become Batman.
ElChavo - 6/11/2012, 12:07 PM
hans Zimmer is legend
Nubase - 6/11/2012, 12:11 PM
the track listings alone just puts a smile on my face, zimmer said that the sound of the music for the movie will be more hardcore progressive sounds, and the music to the mtv spot gives us a taste.
WorldsGreatestdetective - 6/11/2012, 12:24 PM
This is going to be awesome. Bought 5 Imax tickets this afternoon and these tracks look great. But I just remembered the James newton howard is not involved in the soundtrack. Hans Zimmer has always been superior but it would have been nice for the sake of trilogy
Avenger53 - 6/11/2012, 12:49 PM
Excerpts from "The Fire Rises" and "Rise" have already been released... The MTV clip used an edited version of "The Fire Rises (aka: Bane's Theme" and the last trailer used parts of "Rise".

This score is going to be fantastic, but I am sorry to see that James Newton Howard did not collaborate with Zimmer on this one. Oh well
CPBuff22 - 6/11/2012, 1:16 PM
The soundtrack is likely to be the best part of the movie.
PeterParker1991 - 6/11/2012, 1:27 PM
I'm a little nervous about TDKR. Hoping Batman doesn't die.
dmadtroll - 6/11/2012, 1:37 PM
@thewonderer - you dumbass. hearing a trailer music doesn't make it spectacular. haha. tsk tsk tsk.
HAQ - 6/11/2012, 2:01 PM
Necessary Evil = Batman KILLS Bane
Moozreversed - 6/11/2012, 2:12 PM
@ saintspidey

I really hope we get Scarecrow again. Cillian Murphy is perfect as Dr. Crane
HAQ - 6/11/2012, 5:18 PM
Of course we'll get Scarecrow - u can clearly see him in 1 of the tv spots, standing on a pile of rubble, acting as a judge as they drag off some scared guy.
TheHitchhikingGhost - 6/11/2012, 5:50 PM
Hans Zimmer is a genius, but James Newton Howard came through in the clutch for the quieter melodies, etc. I thought it was a brilliant pairing. Hope the quality doesn't diminish given JNH's absence.
LoudNoises - 6/11/2012, 6:06 PM
@HAQ

I wouldn't say it's clearly Scarecrow, lol. Although I agree it's probably him. I've seen the still of that part from the tv spot and I can't imagine anyone could confirm that's him being that far in the background of the shot. But again, I agree it's likely him. That would just be too good for Nolan not to include.
MadTitan - 6/12/2012, 3:42 AM
looking at the track listings there are considerable long tracks and i wasn't particularly fond of tracks that had long "Zimmering" (pun intended) parts that borders to making it particularly boring. it is interesting to note however that this time around he had no james newton howard to collaborate with which IMO makes the previous TDK scores sounded better. anyway i'd like to hear all tracks before fully concluding my opinion to be fair.
UrbanKnight - 6/12/2012, 1:09 PM
should not have read the track listing oh well cant help to speculate away.

Btw isnt it kinda obvious that thats more of a upside down bird than a bat.

like the bat horns are really its feet, and the tail is really the bird's head, eye, and beak!!?? hmm?. i doubt it, but...??
