Give me one reason for Brainiac?

I see no physical reason why he must be in it.

Just have Lex/Joker

LEVITIKUZ - 7/27/2013, 3:01 PM
Also how does Batman best Superman?

You state why but not how.
LEVITIKUZ
LEVITIKUZ - 7/27/2013, 3:04 PM
He didnt state why for Brainiac.

What is Brainiac's purpose for being in this film? Why must we have Brainiac? What is Brainiac after?

All he said was Brainiac should be introduced just so the GA knows him.

You never state his purpose.

I wouldn't mind Savage.

But it's set up for Lex.

We need brainiac or doomsday, basically someone who can have go toe to toe with superman so that we get the spectacle element too. If its just joker and lex then there is no scope for superman to go all out. You could have those two but there needs to be a physical element for superman too and he needs a villain he can fight.

The first Superman/Batman story arc could work. A bounty being put on both their heads would give reason for them to fight and eventually team up.

NO/b>

BATMAN SHOULD NOT BEAT SUPERMAN.

Especially the way they established Superman in MOS. The guy tried to push him and he didn't even move.

I agree with everything else except that and Braniac. He should be save for a MOS standalone, or Justice League.

Batman beat Superman in the comics didnt he? And I thought fanboys liked to b*tch when a movie didnt follow the source material...

In the comics it's bullshit too. The only reason comic writers let Batman do half the shit he does is because he has a VERY large fan base and the more spectacular the more money.

I mean we're talking about a guy who CAN'T beat a guy dressed as a clown, but CAN beat a superpowered alien? Gtfo.

To those saying no to Matt Bomer... I think some of you forget a very important plot point from the comics and even shown in the Cartoon(TAS).
Superman and Batman look eerily similar. They are nearly dopplegangers for each other and sometimes do take each other's places to confuse people. Matt Bomer was one of the final 3 multiple times in the running to play Superman so it makes great sense for Matt Bomer and Cavill to be Bats and Supes since they look alike.

@MrCBM56...
You do understand that not even the biggest GODS of the DC Universe can best the Joker for the simple reason that he is beyond unpredictable and thinks on a different level than any other being in the DCU... The Joker is the ultimate mind of chaos. Even The Spectre could not judge him/kill him for the reason that he has a purpose and the fact that is actually insane beyond comprehension which is why Batsy can defeat an alien and not The Joker. Nearly everyone in the DCU can be calculated or you can learn how predictable they can be, and most commonly it is Supes who is the easiest to calculate predictability, The Joker is unpredictable.

so in short

1. The superman sequel must be a superman sequel
2. the comic book movie has to be based on a good comic book
3. Lex Luthor has to be in it (duh)
4. The expensive, risky movie has to be good
5. the expensive risky movie must have character development
6. The superman sequel must focus on superman
7. the comic book movie must follow the comics
8. Dont make it the same tone as the preceding movie
9. no
10. duh and no.

what are you 8?

Nice work Khan. I agree with all of these. If anyone in the DCCU needs the spotlight, atleast for now, it has to be Superman. Unfortunately, I feel Batman is going to be the Iron Man/Wolverine of this universe. Speaking of Wolverine, would you consider doing a top ten for a sequel to The Wolverine?

Do you know how many times Joker has been arrested by GCPD. All you have to do is shoot the mother[frick]er lmao.

Don't get me wrong though, Joker is a damn sadistic, terrifying ass villian. One of my fav of all time. But sometimes it becomes TOO easy to kill him. But I understand you don't want to kill off a major and iconic character like that.

But Goyer has said in a interview that with planning, Batman could beat ANYBODY. Even Superman. That's what I'm worried about.

Ok HouseSnow, while I don't agree with much of this article (generally speaking, I'm just tired of comic book fans trying to write their own movies in these articles), there was no reason for your little snide how old are you remark. If you paid any attention to this site, then you would know how old Khan is and how much these movies & this site mean to him. While I am generally tired of these articles from others, after knowing more about Khan I want him to keep at it, even if I do disagree with his ideas. So knock it off already.

I'm warming to the idea of Bomer as Batman, but if this is a reboot for the character, then he must be a major factor to the story regardless of it being a MOS sequel.

@MAC...Goyer is a [frick]ing idiot ;D

I love his reason for why batman should beat superman. I admit at first I was like "what", but it would make it easier on the film (character development wise). They'll have somewhere to take supes, mentally that is. I agree 100%. Khan's a genius.
