After 3 awful Punisher movies I think its time we finally had a decent one! I think that the only way that this could happen is if the franchise were to be firmly placed back in the hands of Marvel! A Punisher movie doesnt need to be full of over the top scenes with blood splashing over the walls - it could easily be made into a mature action movie that also happens to have the intelligence of a movie like The Dark Knight!
Anyway, here are my choices for the cast of the movie! A couple are the same (simply because I believe they were so good in the roles they should come back even for a reboot) If you have any questions as to who they are or why I chose them, feel free to ask me in the comments section below!
Ray Stevenson as The Punisher
After the death of his family, Frank Castle was determined to punish crime by any means necessary and was driven by a relentless compulsion for killing. He started a one-man war on crime becoming a feared crime fighting vigilante bent on punishing evil-doers, the ultimate Anti-Hero, 'The Punisher'.
Wayne Knight as Microchip
A former weapons engineer, Linus Lieberman became the Punisher's weapons supplier for a short time. He was also especially skilled in the use of computers and technology.
Casey Affleck as Stuart Clarke
The former villain known as Rampage. Stuart has a mad-on for Iron Man has recently taken on the role of Microchip for the Punisher, providing him with the latest weapons and information.
Anton Yelchin as Henry
Henry saved The Punisher while he was pursuing Norman Osborn. He offered his services as a hacker to aid Frank in his war against criminality and Osborn in particular.
Kiefer Sutherland as Det. Martin Soap
The unlucky NYPD Detective was assigned to head the 'Punisher Task Force'.
Desmond Harrington as Jigsaw
Billy "The Beaut" Russo was known for his handsome appearance until confronting the Punisher who sent Billy through a glass window, severely damaging his face. after the incident he took the name Jigsaw and is a deadly force with a vendetta towards the Punisher.
Mark Wahlberg as Bushwacker
Carl Burbank joined the C.I.A who outfitted him with a cybernetic arm and made him an assassin under the codename 'Bushwacker', but ultimately he became a freelance killer.
Michael C. Hall as Daredevil
Matthew Murdock is a blind defense attorney by day, and the vigilante protector of Hell's Kitchen by night.
Ray Winstone as Kingpin
The self-proclaimed Kingpin of Crime. He is one of the most prominent figures of organized crime in the whole US east coast.
Timothy Olyphant as Bullseye
The hitman for hire capable of using just about anything as a lethal projectile weapon. One of the most psychotic, most sadistic characters in comics, though little is known about him, not even his real name.
