Though a few of the actors in this cast wouldnt be my ideal choices (for example, I'd like to see Bret Harrison as Spider-Man. However, he's too old to play a teenage Peter!) I have based this cast on the recent news that the next Spider-Man movie will be a reboot with a whole new cast set in high school. For that reason, my choices are all actors under 20 so if you're not that familiar with them feel free to ask me (or Google them, lol!) in the comments section!
Logan Lerman as Peter Parker/Spider-Man
Peter Benjamin Parker is The Amazing Spider-Man. As a teenager, Peter was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him super powers.
Chace Crawford as Harry Osborn
Peter Parker's best friend who later followed in his father's footsteps by donning the mantle of the Green Goblin.
Logan Huffman as Flash Thompson
Young Peter Parker's classmate, he was a bully through and through. Ironically he was also Spider-Man's biggest fan.
Willa Holland as Gwen Stacy
Gwen Stacy is the first and true love of Peter Parker. She is also the daughter of captain George Stacy. Tragically, Gwen was killed when the Green Goblin threw her off the Brooklyn Bridge.
Emma Roberts as Mary Jane Watson
MJ was the wife of Peter Parker before the Brand New Day story arc. She is the 4th love interest in Parker's life behind Liz Allan, Betty Brant, and Gwen Stacy. She is also a professional model and actress.
Taylor Momsen as Liz Allen
Elizabeth "Liz" Allan was a classmate of Peter Parker. She dated and later married Harry Osborn, Peter's best friend.
Helen Mirren as Aunt May
Aunt May is the mother figure and aunt-by-marriage to Peter Parker, although it was only recently that she discovered her nephew's secret.
Richard Jenkins as Uncle Ben
Uncle to Peter Parker,and the man who helped define Spider-Man.
James Remar as J. Jonah Jameson
J. Jonah Jameson was the former employer of Peter B. Parker and remains an aggravant of Spider-Man. He is the chief editor and publisher of the Daily Bugle.
Danny Glover as Robbie Robertson
Joseph “Robbie” Robertson is J. Jonah Jameson’s right hand arm. He is the opposite of his employer. He is a man of integrity, thoughtful and staid.
ENEMIES
I really have no idea who the best choice of villain would be in the planned reboot - it would be great to see the Green Goblin again in a more authentic costume etc but it would also be good to see a new villain take on Spider-Man! That's why I've cast most of the characters classic villains with a few new casting choices and a few I've used before that I think are too perfect to change!
John C. McGinley as Norman Osborn/Green Goblin
Best known as the Green Goblin, one of Spider-Man's greatest enemies. Norman has the world fooled into thinking he is simply a business leader.
Alec Baldwin as Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus
A genius and a madman, Doctor Otto Octavius led career by attempting the takeover of the criminal underground and vengeance of his longtime foe, Spider-Man.
Ben Foster as Max Dillon/Electro
An electrifying supervillain of Spider-Man, Electro is a human electrical conductor.
Bruce Campbell as Quentin Beck/Mysterio
Mysterio was a formidable foe to the amazing Spider-Man. So much so that his arts of illusion were carried on by others after the original Mysterio's death.
Ralph Fiennes as Chameleon
The Chameleon is a spy and master of disguise. Throughout his history, he has used a variety of traditional, high-tech and biologically enhanced ways to change his appearance, believably imitating almost anyone.
Timothy Olyphant as Mac Gargan/Scorpion
MacDonald Gargan was an investigator that was turned into the Scorpion. He is the current host of the Venom symbiote.
Gerard Butler as Sergei Kravinoff/Kraven the Hunter
Kraven was a Russian born big game hunter and mercenary. He became one of Spider-Man's deadliest enemies until he killed himself after proving his worth.
Jeremy Sisto as Curt Connors/The Lizard
This reptilian monster has often fought Spider-Man in his quest to have the world be ruled by genetically enhanced reptiles.
Dominic Purcell as Rhino
Rhino is an adversary toward Spider-Man and the Hulk. His suit grants him incredible endurance and strength.
John Malkovich as Adrian Toomes/Vulture
Adrian Toomes is an old villain of Spider-Man that uses a flying harness to terrorize New York City.
