While many have doubted that the actress would only be playing "Miranda Tate" in The Dark Knight Rises, set photos featuring her character seemingly on the side of Bane, made it seem even less likely that she wouldn't be in the long rumored role of Talia Al Ghul. Well, here's what she had to say when quizzed recently by MTV News...
"Well, actually, it was not based off of a character in the comic." she revealed when they asked whether she looked to the comic books for inspiration while playing the mysterious Miranda Tate. When they pressed her for details and asked if she was telling us the truth, she replied with a smile: "Yes, I am."
And if they catch up with her this time next year, will they have caught her out in a lie? "No," she said emphatically. "No!"
"It's amazing to work on Christopher Nolan's set. I'm so happy that I'm working with him again. I could do tons of movies with him. It's a huge project, but at the same time, it's like a family crew. He's worked with them for such a long time, so you really feel like you're on a family set."
