Movie of the year!

GuardianAngel - 11/18/2012, 9:54 AM
That concept art for the Batman/Bane battle looks a lot like something from Star Wars.
TheDetectiveComicRises - 11/18/2012, 9:57 AM
@GuardianAngel I totally agree! This is freaking Awesome! Be glad when I add it to my Batman & rest of DC Collection!
jimpinto24 - 11/18/2012, 9:57 AM
I will wait until TDKR is on Blu-ray & then watch the behind the scenes.
crazymarvelgurl95 - 11/18/2012, 9:59 AM

GuardianAngel - 11/18/2012, 10:10 AM
No more BTS footage for me until I get it on Blu-ray. I really want to see some actual concept art for Bane. None of that kindergarten stuff.
thewonderer - 11/18/2012, 10:10 AM
Its funny how marvel fanboys claim Nolanites are the problem...

Then proceed to insult the movies...

Quality film. Best of the year for sure. This is why I appreciated TDKR over Avengers. Avengers was one huge green screen behind the battle. I'm not talking about the aliens, but the actual fighting background.

Look at the effort put in for practical effects here. Insane man insane

Great film.
Excited to experience it in Blu-ray.

I actually already have the bluray due to somebody mixing up the release date and it is EPIC! So great to watch this movie again!
Asterisk - 11/18/2012, 10:21 AM
OKAY, can we just like both movies? Sheesh.

Also, this is [frick]ing awesome.
ComicFanMan - 11/18/2012, 10:21 AM
Thank god I finally found a comment a
section with fans of TDKR. I can't believe all the hate I'm reading in thi site and it's quite sad because nine times out of ten its always marvelites bashing it, while also talking about "nolanites" which I have not seen on here ever. All I see are people trying to like a movie and people bashing them for it it's ridiculous and this is the only place on the Internet that I ever hear someone talk bad about Nolan and TDKR. It's gettin ridiculous and there so diligent with it a lot of people who actually like the film so they don't just to get them off their back. You can't deny both TDKR and the avengers were both great films. I'm just tired of reading hatful shit....
ComicFanMan - 11/18/2012, 10:24 AM
Sorry a lot of typos in my last comment, I phone keys suck...
HBarnill - 11/18/2012, 10:28 AM
I love this film but if this war is never going to end, then all Avengers and TDKR articles should be banned.
thewonderer - 11/18/2012, 10:29 AM
@ComicFanMan

Hell yeah! man

Its whoevers the majority rules on this website. Majority ARE Marvel fanboys now who stupidly claim Nolanites run the website when it is them.

I loved The Avengers and TDKR but you will never hear a true marvel fanboy admit that. Nor will you ever hear a marvel fanboy insult the Avengers.

I admit TDKR had flaws BUT SO did the avengers, which no one talks about.

Anyway, for the simple gesture of agreeing with you, I'm sure some ignorant marvel fanboy will post after me with a not funny picture or naked chick claiming "Nolanites butt[frick] each other hurr hurr"
Ranger14 - 11/18/2012, 10:45 AM
ComicFanMan@ Welcome to the site, but you have obviously missed all the articles in which it goes the opposite way. It's nowhere near 9 out of 10 times. This is a place for all fans to voice their opinions. If I don't think a film is great, it is my right to do so and I didn't think TDKR was great. It was disappointing for me. Different strokes as I always say. I also said the same thing about TASM, so it has nothing to do with Marvel vs. DC. It has to do with being an old-school comic book fan seeing disservice done to the characters I have loved for over 40 years. Once again, to each their own.
TabascoJones - 11/18/2012, 10:48 AM
1 guy says he doesn't care and 1 guy says something about a razzie and suddenly everyone is bashing TDKR?
95 - 11/18/2012, 10:48 AM
The first concept image (with Batman and Bane in the sewers) looks straight out of The Phantom Menace and Empire Strikes Back. Also, I wonder how much it cost to construct one of those sets (the Batcave for instance)?
GuardianAngel - 11/18/2012, 10:52 AM
Wow I'm surprised the haters haven't showed up yet. Both The Avengers and TDKR were great. Whether you prefer TDKR or The Avengers, can't we all agree that The Dark Knight beats them both?
Nomis1800 - 11/18/2012, 10:54 AM
Haha the underground prison was right next to the Arkham Asylum entrance!

OMG I LOVE this film!!! Can't wait to see it again and again!!!
Maximus101 - 11/18/2012, 11:03 AM
I wish there was deleted scenes :(
batfan175 - 11/18/2012, 11:07 AM
@Preston: stop pretending that this is batman & Robin because it isn't and we all here on the forum know it so stop overreacting. This is just another attempt to start a fight and I give you a razzie for worst joke under this article. hope you liek it.
batfan175 - 11/18/2012, 11:09 AM
@IronFan93: yeah i know these people haven't gotten over the disappointment of Ironman 2 yet. So sad that they have to take out their frustration on DC's best character....
batfan175 - 11/18/2012, 11:10 AM
@yossarian: guess what, nor does anyone care about your opinion either. 87% RT. i guess that settles it then....
ComicFanMan - 11/18/2012, 11:20 AM
@ranger14

See man I can respect your post and opinion on the subject matter because your not saying "this movie blows nolanites suck it herp a derp derp." because your coming from a level headed place I just have a problem with people who are so biased with marvel they don't even give the film a chance and just bash it as much as they can, with stupid pictures and rude uneducated comments like children.
ToTheManInTheColdSweat - 11/18/2012, 11:28 AM
TDKR: Movie makes over a billion, critics love it, fanboys call it shit.

Avengers: Movie makes over a billion, critics love it, fanboys call it best cbm ever.

-_-
ComicFanMan - 11/18/2012, 11:32 AM
@95

I know man me to! I'm saving the extras for when I can fully enjoy it on my home entertainment center to get the full experience.
ComicFanMan - 11/18/2012, 11:33 AM
@IronFan93

Exactly my friend.
Ranger14 - 11/18/2012, 11:34 AM
"I just have a problem with people who are so biased with marvel they don't even give the film a chance and just bash it as much as they can, with stupid pictures and rude uneducated comments like children."

I understand that, but the same thing happens on Avenger articles by the DC and Nolan fans. It isn't just a one-way street.

...and I prefer Batman Begins over TDK and TDKR
DarkArts - 11/18/2012, 11:34 AM
The film is such a bore and while it was interesting to watch the 1st time, to see how it ended, its unbearable to watch again.
There is a DVD quality leak of TDKR on the net right now but seriously I cant bring myself to watch it.
DioFoRio - 11/18/2012, 11:38 AM
that concept art of Bats is nucking futs!! Love it...

ComicFanMan - 11/18/2012, 11:42 AM
@ranger

Your right it's not a one way street but If you go to those articles you talk about (for example snl avengers skit) you see maybe one or two nolanites posts. But when Nolan or TDKR gets an article it's automatically filled with hateful comments drowning out the fans. I'm not starting an argument I'm just stating that it's pretty obvious most of the users on this site are more passionate about marvel and it definitely shows. I would just like to present the idea of being able to like both films because both are amazing films in their own right. But like you ultimately said different strokes for different folks I just have to brush the trolls off, but thanks for the welcome and insight man.
Ranger14 - 11/18/2012, 11:43 AM
Just because someone is fan of DC or a fan of Marvel doesn't mean they have to like any film associated with it. I don't settle for less than what I personally want to see in a film, whether it be Marvel or DC.

Typically, I have good gut feeling on a film before it is released and I rarely have my mind changed after seeing the film. I did think I would like Green Lantern, but was disappointed in that one, but most were.
ComicFanMan - 11/18/2012, 11:44 AM
@yossarian

That's actually not that bad hahaha.
DC4everLantern - 11/18/2012, 11:49 AM
Best movie ever!!! Bane vs Batman pic is awesome!
