Sandman would be awesome as a movie series loke Harry Potter! I think its time we have a Wonder Woman movie, make it like Clash of the Titans!

Please do not let this person be in charge of what movies come out.

Maybe instead of Dc trying to have movie universe, do a tv universe. Connect Wonder Woman with arrow, Hal Jordan is rumored to be in arrow, have a batman tv show, then a flash, then aquaman, then superman. Then have one epic 2 hour special of justice league!

Lmao, Dc get your shit together. I better hear the announce of the DCU at comic con.

Sandman would make an AMAZING HBO series, haven't read Fables but I've only heard good things about it. Metal Men could be a fun family film but shouldn't be a priority. Justice League=DUH. Aquaman is too big of a risk at this point IMO.

The two best solid choices they have to start new franchises are Flash and Wonder Woman. They have to take the risk on one of those.

might catch hell for this but really?! The movie at the top of the list is Sandman? You could probably name at least 10 characters or teams that need a movie before sandman....ATLEAST!

Idk sounds to me like WB is just desperate for their next Harry Potter franchise to keep the steam going. They couldn't care less if DC was the property to provide that. It's all business, no heart.

Aquaman Really?? LOL no thanks, look Batman Superman, GL, Flash (maybe) Wonder Woman, and one or two other could make a nice JL movie. But Aquaman isn't one of them unless it's a cameo. The charater isn't strong enough to carry a Movie...sorry.

I really don't see Sandman as a movie franchise. Maybe a HBO tv show, MAYBE. Honestly, I wouldn't mind never seeing it on the screen. The story and the art of the comic are amazing.

3- Wonder Woman
4- The Flash (Barry Allen)
5- Hawkman or Martian Manhunter
6- Aquaman (Leader of team? Nice new take. Hes a king. Hes born to lead)

Id leave out GL for multiple reasons. The failure of the film still leaves a bad taste in peoples mouths and deadpool seems to be Reynolds current focus (X-Force and a solo film)

Hope they are true. Aquaman would make a great movie based on his new 52 run with Black Manta. Added in with the Atlantean magic and sorcery from what they have shown in YJ and JL:Flashpoint with the conflict between his brother Ocean Master and his longtime personal feud with Manta would make an enjoyable and somewhat different movie to see. There is too much potential.

Make it happen, DC! Make a Wonder Woman movie happen already!

And yeah, sure Aquaman too (I've actually been thinking about his potential on the big screen, truth be told)... but WONDER WOMAN COMES FIRST, do you hear me?!?

And for the love of sweet monkey Christmas, get Gail Simone to write the script (or at least to consult)! She knows this character inside and out, and she's already written a great WW movie for the DC Animated Universe (it's just a damn shame that they didn't just expand on that script for a live-action release)!

So yes, DC: make a Wonder Woman movie. AND a Flash movie. And Aquaman too, if you must. But for the love of criminy, do it FAST, because I am sick of waiting for you to get your sh*t together!!!!!

Fables should be made into a film franchise JUST to show these Twilight-ed fairy tales that try to be edgy like SWATH and Red Riding Hood how it's done.

I like the Flash and all but I don't see a Flash movie putting butts in the seats. I know all about the speed force and that business but at the end of the day folks are just gonna see him as a blonde dude that can run fast. Now something DC might want to consider is making some live action short films with lesser known/respected characters and putting them before movies like Batman, Superman or JL. A 10 min Flash feature before MOS 2 might be a great way to set that property as a brand. Just a thought really.

Has anyone here actually read the full -- and very brief -- interview?

She hints at MoS 2, the JL characters, and is apparently making Aquaman a priority...yet, when she's asked about which 5 characters are the most important to her, she lists Sandman and Fables.

It'll be interested to see what's announced at SDCC.

After seeing this it all becomes clear.. why we will never see good movies of DC superheroes.

I'm not a DC or a Marvel person just love superhero movies.. and its just dissappointing that WB can't get it together with the awesome properties they have and get some good movies made.. even if they are only fair to good they would kill it in the box office.

Reading her interview made me throw up.. can't they get someone in there that actually will get the job done right.. I mean Sandman is cool but a franchise on Sandman???? that is the dumbest thing I've ever heard.. and comparing Sandman to Harry Potter.. how did this person get her job that is just absurd.
