FAN MADE: Poster For Christopher Nolan's DARK KNIGHT Trilogy

Messenjahmatt, who has been giving us those great "Rise" character posters, has used his skills to come up with a very impressive trilogy poster featuring Batman and all of his villains from all three movies..

Warner Bros. Pictures’ and Legendary Pictures’ "The Dark Knight Rises" is the epic conclusion to filmmaker Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. The screenplay is written by Christopher Nolan and Jonathan Nolan, story by Christopher Nolan & David S. Goyer. The film is produced by Emma Thomas, Christopher Nolan and Charles Roven, who previously teamed on “Batman Begins” and the record-breaking blockbuster "The Dark Knight." The executive producers are Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Kevin De La Noy and Thomas Tull, with Jordan Goldberg serving as co-producer. The film is based upon characters appearing in comic books published by DC Comics. Batman was created by Bob Kane.


Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises opens July 20th, and stars Christian Bale, Tom Hardy, Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman, Morgan Freeman, Joseph Gordon Levitt and Marion Colltiard.

When I saw the title for the last movie I thought it would be better if they would call Batman Begins...the dark knight begins.

I thought it's old (since I believe I've ever seen it long before) - turns out it was the one itbegins2005 posted up there. But, I'd say the one in the article (Messenhajmatt's) is way better! Makes me wonder from where does he get all those images of the full images of the characters. Aside of that, it's got the tone right, and is simply neat, overall. Love it, and would love to see it used/distributed at IMAX theaters during the marathon.

Looking at that pic reminds me of how great bb n tdk are... hopefully tdkr will be a great end to the trilogy.

Please can we forget the 3rd one exists? the 1st, 2nd were great but the 3rd just reminds me when directors ignore fans just like Milla destroying the resident evil crapville movies.

More important than the box office, if TDKR turns out to be even remotely decent, we'll have the first great comic book trilogy ever. A feat that won't be repeated until at least Avengers 3, and who knows how long that will be.

You do realize chris nolan ignored fans for the first two films...look how those turned out. The guy does his own thing. I have no doubt that tdkr will be just as great, if not better.

When you look back, it's amazing how many villains Nolan has fit into these movies without them feeling crammed or underused.

Ilike how the Bat symbol in the back is a triple fusion on the way its presented from each movie and having the villains correspond to the division of it. Nice nice.

I know this is a pipe dream, but I hope there's a third villain that nobody knows about, besides Scarecrow. I'd really like to see Black Mask running the mob. No backstory needed, like Joker.

I like the way you organized the villains by movie. Scarecrow being in the first two is closest to both and Harvey Dent being referenced heavily in TDKR is almost between TDK/TDKR

You see I hate when people say Nolan has no respect for the source material. He obviously does. I mean ZSASZ IS IN BATMAN BEGINS! He had no reason to put him in there other than to please the hardcore fans. The guy has said countless times how great the Batman comics are. That one irrelevant line was either out of context, or FAKE. Theres no proof he said that. I went to other websites and I don't see that quote anywhere else.
