TOYS: Hot Toys 1/6th Scale HULK Limited Edition Collectible Figurine From THE AVENGERS

I have to say, I find this to be one of Hot Toys' less impressive figurines. I mean he looks cool, and is as movie-accurate as we have come to expect, but there just seems to be something missing. I know The Hulk was never going to come with too many accessories, but just some interchangeable hands? No extra head sculpts? I realize The Hulk was angry for most of the movie but there was at least one more expression they could have used! Anyway, I wouldn't be rushing out to buy this one -- even if I had the spare 200 quid lying around..

Hot Toys is proud to present the highly anticipated 1/6th scale Hulk Limited Edition Collectible Figurine from the smash hit The Avengers. The movie-accurate collectible is specially crafted based on the image of the giant green-skinned angered monster Hulk in the movie, highlighting the newly developed head sculpt with rolling eyeballs and specially sculpted muscular body.

a lot of the joints are too noticable for them to really be concerned about making the elbows seamless. but still cool none the less.
qc4 - 8/10/2012, 1:12 AM
crap !
DCMarvelFreshman - 8/10/2012, 1:15 AM
@kisama Exactly! The nailed the face, texture and body structure. Just those noticeable joints makes it seems more like an action figure, unlike the others. I wish they would've made one just for Bruce.
M6 - 8/10/2012, 1:19 AM
They did a good job with the details but I don't like the facial expression, I wish there would be more than one head. And the joints....
UltimaRex - 8/10/2012, 1:31 AM
Unique body sculpt, Seamless arms (I thought they were fixed), Hot toys did a great job.

If this (and the rest of the Avengers) sells then expect a totally seamless "Hulk 2.0" for £/$100 more than this one...
BlackFlash - 8/10/2012, 1:40 AM
The second to last image is just wrong.
BigEars - 8/10/2012, 2:01 AM
Looks kinda shit lol...
Still, the 5th pic looks like what Hulk wants 2 do with Black Widow... If u catch my drift lol..
Jolt17 - 8/10/2012, 2:03 AM
That's why I find the Hot Toys figures for...um, shirtless characters like the Hulk (I believe there's another one for another character in the past; I can't exactly remember it, though) less impressive - yes, my main concern is the noticeable joints. The sculpting, and all, is still above the standards for regular action figures, but overall, it DOES look like any other action figures out there without anything to cover its joints.

God that Articulation is God-Awful. I think I'll stick with just buying Captain America and Agent Coulson.

Yay!!Rubber!!The nightmare of every collector!
RR51 - 8/10/2012, 2:22 AM
Kinda looks like John Noble
nikgrid - 8/10/2012, 2:25 AM
Hmm not one of Hot toys better figures, and probably really over priced. I've got Iron man Mk iv and Indiana jones and the detail on them is great compared to this one.
LOL - 8/10/2012, 2:58 AM
Yep, looks like they dropped the ball on this one, and aside from the arm joints, it looks almost no different from the ones we usually see in retail stores like Target and Toys R Us. But then again, you just don't have much to work with because the Hulk is pretty much shirtless. Wish they made a Banner figure too.
Jollem - 8/10/2012, 3:16 AM
quid?...now yer just making up words

the quid sounds like the next alien race the avengers are gonna fight
Gromblidor - 8/10/2012, 3:35 AM

RorMachine - 8/10/2012, 3:40 AM
If they had of made it a double pack with Banner, then it would have been worth it.
blvdnoise - 8/10/2012, 3:40 AM
THAT'S PRETTY DOPE.

CrowPirate1 - 8/10/2012, 4:33 AM
Doesn't come with a Banner figure inside, huh? now THAT would have been cool. Pop it in half and pull Mark out.

BANNER78 - 8/10/2012, 4:50 AM
hot toys can stick it up their @$$.... Its absolutely rediculous what they charge for "the working man"! They should be taken out back and put down for the "highway robbery" they are pulling!
dahamma - 8/10/2012, 5:01 AM
This is like the best looking hulk ever
hope420 - 8/10/2012, 5:46 AM
I always wondered if the rubber they use for skin will dry and crack after a few years? Anyone remember the talking Furby Yoda? I worked at a toy store when they came out and less then a year the rubber on the face dried and cracked around the mouth and eyes and we had a recall on em.
superotherside - 8/10/2012, 5:55 AM
That looks fantastic.
pepe - 8/10/2012, 6:11 AM
Hulk has got afro ...
Ancar - 8/10/2012, 6:12 AM
Hmmm... NOPE!!! I didn't like it - and the last photo looks like Hulk is the Green Swan!
figuresmaniac - 8/10/2012, 7:43 AM
Gordon approves
Barmstrong01 - 8/10/2012, 7:57 AM
This COULD have been a great piece. If they can make the elbow flexible and seamless, why can't they do it with the shoulder as well. The feet and hands could be accepted and overlooked with the seams and interchageability....but for god sakes, the main focus of the Hulk is his upper half. That single face was NOT the only one he had in the movie. This is just upsetting...However, Hot Toys is going to make their money regardless right? Want to purchase a real Hulk, then go with the Sideshow Toys Hulk Maquette....not poseable, but way better than this crap.
GoILL - 8/10/2012, 8:08 AM
It looks okay not as great as other Hot Toys products i've seen.
angus666 - 8/10/2012, 8:27 AM

THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 8/10/2012, 8:39 AM
@TheGambitFreak
IK right. If you look closely at the photo of the arm bending, you can see the rubber cracking on the elbow.
TrueRedBlue - 8/10/2012, 10:06 AM
Are his pants brown or purple??
ibravosp5 - 8/10/2012, 10:30 AM
@TrueRedBlue the first time he hulked out in the movie they were brown. Second time they were purple. Right here they're purple.
Cartoon22 - 8/10/2012, 11:34 AM

GammaVerve - 8/10/2012, 5:17 PM
Amazing figure, but probably too expensive for me!
Bodwulf - 8/10/2012, 5:33 PM
