Red Hulk, Red She-Hulk, and now Red Leader - I think I see a pattern emerging! Marvel have told Newsarama that there is a "story reason" for all of these red-tinted covers. Interesting.

I hope they don't make everything in this book red... I think green leader would be fine, who the hell is this guy anyway ?
polarkyle - 10/1/2012, 7:43 AM

ATrueHero1987 - 10/1/2012, 7:46 AM
What the hell?! What's with all the "red" characters?
Also: Red Skull, now they're coming out with Green Skull. We got a Green Leader and now a Red Leader. Now I'm waiting for a Yellow Abomination.lol

How about a blue leader as well? Bleader or something. Yeah, that sounds awesome.

so i just want to confirm.. are these covers in fact tinted red? or are some of these characters getting new, red costumes?
RorMachine - 10/1/2012, 9:04 AM
Marvel have told Newsarama that it is "The Red Leader". So unless they are feeling frisky and decided to have a little joke, no, it's not just the old Leader tinted red.
SCURVYDOG619 - 10/1/2012, 9:27 AM
Probably going to be the T-Bolts are working for the Red Skull and don't know about it. Yet.
OdinsBeard - 10/1/2012, 10:03 AM
CptCool@ im down for the punisher getting a new red outfit but for venom to turn black and red, after always being black and white would be weird. plus we already have carnage.

i guess i just don't like the team in general. i know we have a new dark avengers series. but i always thought of T-Bolts as the bad-guy counterparts to the avengers. i wish that was still the case. i see no reason for this team to want to be called t-bolts

Gotta love how Ror totally ignores Captain Cool. Guilty much, Ror??
THEDARKKNIGHT1939 - 10/1/2012, 1:04 PM
Looks like sinestro with a bigger forehead

why stop here? Why not the Red Goblin? Red Doc Samson? Red Abomination? We can expand through the Marvel universe, and have the Red Lizard, Red Scorpion, Red Beetle, hey, let's make every green character red! That'll sell a few dozen books! Really. A red Hulk is okay as a one-storyline thing, but this other stuff is cartoonishly excessive.
8thDynasty - 10/1/2012, 1:30 PM
This is what they pulled the Punisher for...?

That seems totally legit.

Jefferys - 10/1/2012, 2:00 PM
I wonder how long it took them to come with this idea? Original villain? Who needs that these days! Just come up with palette swaps for plain characters… even better yet, palette swaps for green characters in the Hulk universe! Oh MARVEL, very original…
beane2099 - 10/1/2012, 7:56 PM
Red October standing by.
beane2099 - 10/1/2012, 7:58 PM
Last I saw, the Leader was degammmified. Maybe he re gammified himself using the same process he used to make Rulk - a combo of gamma and cosmic radiation. Then badda boom badda bing, red leader.
Martay - 10/2/2012, 5:14 AM
Could it not just be a specially coloured cover to go with the 'red' motif going on with the team?
niknik - 10/2/2012, 8:36 PM
Gonna end up being like Lanterns with reds and blues and yellows and indigo's. Really scraping the bottom of the creative barrel over there at Marvel now.
