NICE!.. without Batman DC would suck so much

WorldsGreatestdetective - 10/11/2010, 5:03 AM
@ Paulley, Marvel and DC both go through points where they have one hero as there poster boy. You know 12 years ago Marvel filed for Bankruptcy. Marvel also from 2002- 2005 over exposed Spiderman in everything I believe. Don't be surprise when green lantern suddenly gets more successful due to his movie and the cartoon show, and for the past 4 years GL has had the best comics.

enough with the Bats and Supes movies...they have plenty of others to make...HELLO JUDAS CONTRACT!!!!!

EdGross - 10/11/2010, 5:56 AM
Judas Contract is NOT happening. Bruce Timm said that marketing came back with figures that didn't support the production and, besides, he felt the script was never quite right.

JLA: Tower of Babel would be good. For all the people that arent cool and dont know, its a story where Ra's Al Ghul attacks the JLA through all their weaknesses (i.e. Martian Manhunter/fire, Aquaman/fear of water) due to the data Batman has on his teammates. Really good story.

KillerOfSaints - 10/11/2010, 6:13 AM
Knightfall would be ok, not kinghts end. Crisis NO! Hush YES!! TDK YES!! TDKSA NO!!!

Oh yeah I almost forgot SUPERMAN: RED SON wow!!!!

@deadpool72:
I like the idea of more than one disc. If they weren't just released individually in under 70-90 minutes, we wouldn't need to condense these stories and could own some Superhero epics.
I would love to see Sinestro Corps War too. Any of the Corps for that matter.

marvel72 - 10/11/2010, 6:35 AM
@ creature

with crisis of infinite earths,i was thinking along the line of a blu-ray i've got of justice league season one its 3 discs all 26 episodes with a running time of 575 minutes.

with crisis you could feature most or all of the crossover comics as well.

it would be epic.

What do you guys think about Bruce Timm doing Batman: No Man's Land into a video?? Figure this way, it has all the best characters of the Batman universe in it. I think that would be epic. Knightfall would be awesome too so would Hush.

SHAZAM171
SHAZAM171 - 10/11/2010, 1:06 PM
UGH!!!!! I know DC's main two characters carry the Universe, but they can do "Superman Meets.." or a "Batman vs..." movies. That way they can introduce other heroes and villians to people that are not familiar with the DC universe. Can We PLEEEEASE do a Kingdom Come movie please. To do justice to the story and art of this Graphic Novel they can do the animation like this.......
fire59019
fire59019 - 10/11/2010, 2:16 PM
batman is great but couldn't they make some animated movies that dwelt with other characters as well. How about Aquaman, or even just another Justice League movie, or another Green Lantern movie, Blackest Night would make for an awesome animated movie.
fire59019
fire59019 - 10/11/2010, 2:17 PM
Hawkman would also make a great character for an animated movie, it was cool to see him in smallville, he has always been a great character. for that matter even a JSA movie would be great.

AllyndNoir - 10/12/2010, 4:43 AM
What about a Flash of Two Worlds movie?
How about Superman: For all Seasons?
How about an Aquaman based on the mini-series by Hamilton and Ponzer?
How about a LoS movie based on the Great Darkness saga?
How about a Kamandi movie?
How about a Shazam! movie?
How about Son of Ambush Bug?
Paulley

@WorldsGreatestdetective : yea but that wasnt my point... i dont like much of the rest of DC Universe and if it wasnt for Batman i personally wouldnt pay much attention to DC at all

Without Batman i wouldnt have even have read some of there few great titles like Secret Six or Green Lantern / GLC.. or the recent series of Flash.

You cant deny that without Batman and his cast of characters DC would be in a completely different position

Did you know
Michael Jackson nearly bought marvel and at one point marve owned the rights to the term "Zombie".
