Giusseppe Camuncoli (layouts)
Jim Lee (art/cover) Lee Bermejo (variant)

ON SALE: 11/18/15 PRICE: $4.99

Superstar artist Jim Lee returns to the Dark Knight with this premiere issue! The impossible has happened and Batman is on the verge of being taken down by an enemy he cannot defeat: a virus for which there is no cure! And the only hope for his salvation is The Joker! Who infected Batman, what does the Clown Prince of Crime know, and how will the Dark Knight get that information? Together, the enemies crisscross Europe, desperate to find answers before time runs out.

Co-conceived by Matteo Casali and Brian Azzarello, this 4-issue miniseries event will feature art by top talents over layouts by the incomparable Giuseppe Camuncoli (HELLBLAZER, Dark Wolverine), with the first issue pencilled and inked by none other than Jim Lee!

Guess this is completely out of current continuity then? Either way the team and concept is intriguing, hopefully it's good- liking the creative team behind this.

so it's basically an expanded version of that plot from Arkham City, sort of kinda not really
Tevii

there isn't really any specific continuity anymore since Convergence. Everything is considered continuity from parallel universes

So basically Arkham City.

Huh.

Azzarello with Lee? I'm in! Sick of the Joker, but I'll overlook that for now.

Jim Lee has gotten so much better since his time with Marvel in the 90s.

@Melkaticox Really? Jim Lee's piece is actually quite refreshing. Him and Yoji Shinkawa are my idols. It's the Soviet variant that's rehashed, lazy crap.

Another Batman comic? DC should just cancel all of their other titles and replace them with Batman books.

@grif

nah, too soon; if any New 52 story arc could be adapted next it could be Forever Evil or Trinity War; none of the arcs from Scott Snyder's Batman though because of the Killing Joke and Batman Year One already done or planned

Wow... the penciller of that 2nd piece of art should have studied the map of Europe better. That's not what The Netherlands looks like!

I'm still waiting for Daredevil/Bullseye Target #2 and All Star Batman and Robin, The Boy Wonder #11.

At this rate, Daredevil: Target #2 will have to take place in a different universe, since 616 has gone kaput.
