Tony Stark Shows Peter Parker The Ropes In A New Photo From SPIDER-MAN: HOMECOMING

Shortly after yesterday's spectacular trailer release, Sony Pictures released a new photo from Spider-Man: Homecoming featuring Peter Parker getting some advice from Tony Stark. Come take a look!

The teaser trailer released in December downplayed the extent of Robert Downey Jr.'s role in Spider-Man: Homecoming, but yesterday's theatrical trailer was able to drop the veil a little more and shed some light on Iron Man's involvement in young Peter Parker's life. Now, while his part is still expected to be more of an extended cameo rather than a full-fledged Avenger appearance, it should still be interesting to see how director Jon Watts utilizes him throughout the picture as well as his hands-on approach in guiding Peter to be better than he himself ever could be.

Following yesterday's trailer release, Sony Pictures updated their press site with a new photo of Tom Holland's Parker getting some advice from Stark while Jon Favreau's Happy Hogan follows closely behind, providing some extra muscle for two of Earth's Mightiest Heroes.

A young Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland), who made his sensational debut in Captain America: Civil War, begins to navigate his newfound identity as the web-slinging super hero in Spider-Man: Homecoming. Thrilled by his experience with the Avengers, Peter returns home, where he lives with his Aunt May (Marisa Tomei), under the watchful eye of his new mentor Tony Stark (Robert Downey, Jr.). Peter tries to fall back into his normal daily routine – distracted by thoughts of proving himself to be more than just your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man – but when the Vulture (Michael Keaton) emerges as a new villain, everything that Peter holds most important will be threatened.

I trust in Marvel that it's a Peter-centric story that well leverages Tony without letting him overshadow, and Keaton looks outstanding in the villain role......this might be Marvel's best year of releases yet!!
