By SpiderManAvengers - 10/13/2012

The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

The Amazing Spider-Man stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Denis Leary, Rhys Ifans, Martin Sheen, and Sally Field. The film will be released on DVD and Blu-ray November 9th.

great find. not sure how that scene would work in the cut we saw, makes me think a LOT ended up on the cutting room floor.
BattlinMurdock - 10/13/2012, 2:19 PM
Got cut because there was no Bing.
RR51 - 10/13/2012, 2:25 PM
So that's how he died.
travispipes - 10/13/2012, 2:26 PM
I can see how that was cut.
spidey1994 - 10/13/2012, 2:48 PM
That was pretty cool. Shame they cut it out.
Mystery - 10/13/2012, 2:51 PM
WHY WAS THIS CUT?!?!
SuspenseSmith - 10/13/2012, 2:53 PM
Um... this was kind of crucial to the story. Cut something else and leave this in if something needed to be cut. Seriously...
Nomis1800 - 10/13/2012, 2:56 PM
Movie was disappointing.
SuspenseSmith - 10/13/2012, 2:57 PM
If this was in the movie, all of my complaints would have been nullified.
BenderDickCumPatch - 10/13/2012, 2:57 PM
WOW.

That was awesome. They needed that
SpiderManofHouseStark - 10/13/2012, 3:00 PM
whoever edited this movie was an absolute moron, how do you cut that stuff... drop the warehouse, skateboarding and keep that in ... im legitimately mad right now
Scabsallover - 10/13/2012, 3:06 PM
If this is the clip I think it is, then that sort of explains what happened to Raffa after the Bridge plot hole.
CaptainObvious - 10/13/2012, 3:13 PM
"Perhaps I shouldn't climb walls without my Spider-Man costume on so nobody can find out my identity."
MrSteiners - 10/13/2012, 3:15 PM
Makes me remember how much I loved the movie.
KNIGHT3000 - 10/13/2012, 3:18 PM
They shoulda cut the scene where super powered Peter was running away from normal crooks... That was really STUPID.
KNIGHT3000 - 10/13/2012, 3:20 PM
They shoulda also took out the scene where Gwen Stacy was babbling about Hot Chocolate like a retard...
RobertGarlen - 10/13/2012, 3:23 PM
My only real problem with the movie was the lack of showg Conner's as a family man. Yes he had a wedding ring, but where was his wife and child, wold have made him seem more human
AmericanPsychoWolf - 10/13/2012, 3:32 PM
Why didn't they include that in the final cut!?! Sony you fuvking morons. There has to be more after this scene right?
California - 10/13/2012, 3:43 PM
I just don't care and Spidey is probably my favorite Marvel character. I couldn't even make it through to the end of 5:00. I just couldn't even bring myself to care.
JokerFan21 - 10/13/2012, 3:52 PM
They should have kept all this in the final cut.
TrueRedBlue - 10/13/2012, 3:55 PM
The movie was still wonderful, even if it had a lot of scenes cut
SuspenseSmith - 10/13/2012, 4:02 PM
This was only 5 minutes long.... they could have dealt with that.
SuspenseSmith - 10/13/2012, 4:03 PM
I think the reason for cutting was the sequels... but they almost endangered the sequels for leaving stuff like this out of the movie.
superpooper - 10/13/2012, 4:07 PM
Still haven't seen this. You guys have pretty much scared me into waiting until it comes out on Zune. Web shooters blow.
TayDee - 10/13/2012, 4:18 PM
That was one clip, imagine how many are on the DVD. You don't [frick]ing cut out five minute scenes of a movie, that's just stupid
TrueRedBlue - 10/13/2012, 4:47 PM
I'll admit, I really did like that scene though. It just really bridged a lot of things in the movie together.
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 4:48 PM
can't wait for this to come out

best cbm this year for me
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 4:53 PM
also, there is not nearly as much hater-shit being sprayed like a fire-hose as per usual. c'mon, can't y'all do better? or is there some fatigue setting in after a relentless year?
Chloefornication - 10/13/2012, 5:00 PM
A day scene in the amazing spider-man? Wow, that was surprising.
Ancar - 10/13/2012, 5:06 PM
Somebody on Sony Pictures is as godamn asshole - this scene was perfect. There's no reason to cut it out!
WebHeadedHero - 10/13/2012, 5:25 PM
glad they didn't go this route. it totally negates the whole "normal teenager" who is dubbed with these extraordinary powers deal that makes peter/spidey so relatable
Optimus83 - 10/13/2012, 6:53 PM
¡¡¡Good Scenes!!!
JonathaNisMagnuM - 10/13/2012, 6:56 PM
Ugh why is there even coverage on this movie still? Can we admit it was the Green Lantern of 2012, be done & wait to see if the sequel will redeem the new franchise?

I wanted to like this Spidey, but even these deleted scenes have plot holes. WTF was Ratha spraying Peter w/? WTF why didnt Peter try to stop Connors before he injected himself w/ the serum again? Jeezus, I'm starting to feel that EVEN WITH DELETED SCENES ADDED, it wont save this flick. It's done, it's over, it wasnt good, the stats show financially & critically. Only thing that was a treat in this flick was Martin Sheen & Sally Field, the Spidey vs Lizard Fight scenes, Stan Lee's cameo & Garfield's acting as Spidey, NOT rebel Peter Parker who skateboards down the hall after his teachers tell him not to.
CaptainObvious - 10/13/2012, 6:59 PM
@ELgUaSoN- What does Batman have to do with Spider-Man? But really, anybody who thinks Ghost Rider 2 is an excellent movie shouldn't be taken seriously.
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 7:11 PM
@yossarian - yeah, just imagine if i kept up with it for over a year, and being annoyingly repetitive about it. and reported people for doing the same things i do. now, that would just be jerky of me :)

snide sounds better than being a straight-up d!ck

p.s. i love you
Egan - 10/13/2012, 7:26 PM
Man what this film needed to be an all time classic is Macy Gray! That was some classic product placement!

Also TASM was the Green Lantern of 2012? I don't remember TASM bombing at the box office.
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 7:30 PM
@yossarian - did you really just try to insult me by calling me a woman?

hmmm. you seem mad at me. i apologize for whatever caused this
JonathaNisMagnuM - 10/13/2012, 7:45 PM
THE HIGHEST GROSSING REBBOT OF ALL TIME?!?

Star Trek Kid

Here ya go, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Reboot_films

Check the list Ninja. aside from Batman, Star Trek & Casino Royale, highest grossing reboot isn't quite an accomplishment w/ those flicks on that list.

& since when does Money mean a film is actually good? AVATAR is the highest grossing movie of all time but its basically Pocahontas w/ Blue Creatures.

But I guess thats what "Highest Grossing" kinda flicks do: rehash old ideas & change up little things.

Keep defending your movie though, good sir, I applaud you
Photobucket

Jollem - 10/13/2012, 7:48 PM
@yossarian - that seems a bit misogynistic

to behave the "EXACT" same way as you, i think i would have to dedicate myself to being a complete jerk, which you have been, hundreds and hundreds of times. and also hypocritical. and childish. and annoying. i don't ever say anything "snide" just to make people mad like you do. i usually try to make a point. again, if you're trying to compare me to you, not by a long shot. i am impressed by your awesome internet pwning skills. if i WERE a woman, i surely would like to get with you :)

i don't dislike you. i have had some friends that were real pieces of shit that i put up with. you seem nowhere close to that

once again, i apologize for saying something bad about anything marvel studios-related
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 8:23 PM
@yossarian - well, you just called me a woman, so there's one example. calling you a hypocrite is not me calling you names. it's me saying what you do

i think i get your "points" as well

i was actually saying you weren't a piece of shit, but it seems like you keep trying to prove me wrong

"You don't affect me."

this is very much not true

"But if you are going to take the high road and look down on everyone who dislikes something you like yet behave the same way, you can at least own up to it."

i don't look down on people for saying negative things about various forms of media. i may look down on people for trying to bring someone down or ruin people's good times or bully them, like you do. a lot

you keep on truckin' as well, sir. and i hope you have gotten a kick out of all your many childish actions you have done
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 8:54 PM
@yossarian - again, you calling me a woman. how old are you?

"Sorry. You don't."

obviously, i do. from criticizing marvel studios stuff a few times and stating the obvious that there are constant shit-sprayers and bullies. i guess nobody likes a whistle-blower

"Oh yeah. I forgot I was a bully thank you."

you probably don't think you are. just go back to your many posts with you being mean and you might see what i'm getting at

i don't necessarily "love" these kind of talks with you. i guess i'll just not say anything bad about marvel studios, and if you do your usual jerkiness, i will just ignore it then
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 9:17 PM
@yossarian - you seem like you keep tryin' to paint me the same color as you. this is not true at all

if you are saying you haven't behaved like a bully or a jerk, you are the one who is disconnected in the brain-meats. again, look back at your many posts with mean intentions. the proof is right there, from your fingertips

"No sir. You can say what you want. That is fine. I do not care."

you mean like, from now on?

you apparently can't handle someone doing not even close to the same things you do for even one day

there is a definite difference between someone simply saying a not positive thing about something and what you usually do
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 9:20 PM
i still love you :)
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 9:47 PM
@yossarian - i am very proud of the fact that i am not a childish bully as well

"Ahh yes, my many posts with mean intentions. No sir. Arguing or debating the merits of the topic at hand isn't mean."

no, it's not. all the very many mean things you have done are mean

"Whenever."

cool

"Good so this isn't a permanent thing you are doing. Good. So I guess in your round about way you admit that you are acting odd lately."

yes. i don't usually do stuff just to be a jerk. that is usually you and other people. and how did i know it'd be only you that is the one that decided to come at me?

"What I usually do? Hmmm..."

again, just look back at yoss's greatest hits

"I must have hurt your feelings at some point in order for you to have this notion of who I am. For that, I am sorry."

apparently i hit a nerve with you, but i have already apologized for that earlier

if you don't want me to take slight jabs at marvel studios with making a point instead of just being mean for the hell of it, i will not
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 10:05 PM
@yossarian - didn't you just give thewonderer shit and report him for the hundredth time just recently? and maximus and whoever else? you still seem like the same ol' yoss to me

"No one even continues behaving in the manner you keep describing anymore except you. So let it go."

respectfully, that is b.s.

don't try to paint me the same color as you
nosnegrom - 10/13/2012, 10:08 PM
Someone on sony needs to get sued hard

Thelizard should take a nice chomp out of him
I think that alot more people would like this movie if this scene was in there
JonathaNisMagnuM - 10/13/2012, 10:13 PM
Tony Pepper OMG
WOW, WHAT A COMEBACK! You backlash my Gif w/ a Gif!

So basically what you're saying is you just made a statement about TASM being the highest grossing reboot of all time, w/ nothing to back it up? Just to make it?!?

[frick] applauds Man, I salute your insolence
Cap Saluting

& since your all on this "highest grossing" BS, take a look at this

http://boxofficemojo.com/showdowns/chart/?id=spidermanvs.htm

hmmm, highest grossing reboot of all time, but doesnt even beat any of its 3 preceding films. Like you, I wont state any reasons I'm just gonna put that out there just for shits n giggles
So just go ahead & enjoy that lil pimp slap from your buddy Magnum

Now, go ahead & sit there & be upset while u contemplate on a counterargument
Pissed

PS I'm really considering reporting Grif's last comment LMAO
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 10:14 PM
@yossarian - it's time for a power hug

JonathaNisMagnuM - 10/13/2012, 10:24 PM
Or better yet @NinjaJesus,

just quite while you're ahead.
Bruce Banner dissappointed

The facts don't lie. It didn't financially do better than the Raimi movies, & looking at most of the views towards it, it was a rush POS aside from CGI/action. I do hope the sequel can redeem itself. Now, your entitled to the opinion of likin it, but even you admitted it had flaws. So like i said, MOVE ON...cuz I sure have
Jollem - 10/13/2012, 10:38 PM
@yossarian - "In fact the only people I've ever reported are the people incapable of talking without calling names."

not true at all once again

"Wonderbread is funny."

thewonderer gets prodded and then treated like shit on a constant basis, from you and many other people

"But it's true. I'll make a point to make sure you see all the cooking tips, random pics, jokes, shucking an jiving and general good times here."

i have had many good times here with people who don't do mean things, and i suppose i look forward to the awesomeness you command here. let's just hope you don't bring the bad times as well

"Sadly, even then I doubt you'd believe it."

you just going back to acting like a prick, then? fun times :/

"Seriously man. Let it go and move one. Everyone else has."

clever. once again, don't try to paint me the same color as you

people can change their demeanor, but not their nature

you say you wanna behave from now on? let's hope you do
