available online, a frightful appeareance of Lizard in the school's bathroom and
another school scene, with Peter discovering a slightly devastated Curtis Connors
after his transformation back to human. Be sure to check them out!

Thank God they took those out, the movie was fantastic.

Webb made a good choice, those girls were atrocious.

I see why they cut the first one. TERRIBLE acting by those girls. However, I thought the second was pretty cool. Still, I can't wait to get the Blu-ray and see all of the deleted scenes myself.

@GambitFreak I think the only word is "WOW". Now that these deleted scenes are coming out, You can tell from the various takes & final scenes that Marc Webb was either clueless about how to make a spidey movie, or he got way too much BS/pressure from Sony studio heads. Which, if it was the 2nd, I truly feel for the dude.

Jeezus the level of WTF is high in those scenes above.
DAFUQ ARE THOSE GIRLS DOING IN THE SAME STALL? What's the other girl gonna do? BLOW HER DRY?!? LMAO & Are you kidding?!? A girl sees an enormous Monstrous looking Clawed hand come up from the sewer & her 1st instinct ISN'T to run? & Great, our Villain isn't just a flawed character, he's also a hardcore pedo. Guess when takes the serum he forgets he has a wife & son.

MAN, the sequel needs a miracle & a prayer to get spidey back to the #1 cbm of all time...Hopefully Webb wont bend to the studio suit pressure

Spider-man was a trilogy. it started with a bang, continued w/ a bigger bang, & ended in crap

Same can be said for the Batman Trilogy

Iron Man 1 was kickass, the sequel was meh/dissapointing, & as for part 3, we'll see this nxt yr.


Why would the studio justify making a crap movie only for the 2nd & 3rd to be amazing?!? If a general audience dissaproves of a movie there's a good chance they wont go to see the sequel. Not everyone's a fanboy like us, & will watch a movie wether its crap or not
I just don't see how this movie is getting a pass like that. & to think this would be the yr we got read of Nolanites, & now we have "Webb-heads" UGH

The first bit of footage is what they showed at San Diego Comic Con in 2011. The snout was longer. They obviously tweaked The Lizard repeatedly. Spider-Man was done very well, even though they should tap into his super strength more in the next film.

I was barely able to watch the deleted scenes because it kept freezing up. TASM was a great comic book movie.

I liked the movie and they obviously did a great job skipping these two terrible scenes. First one was bad and those girls should feel bad.

I think that the first scene could have worked if they just cut out that terrible scream at the end, but I liked him raising out of the ground and the tongue, it was creepy, and if you guys forget reptiles often SMELL with their tongue, so it's not quite so 'predo-ish'.

Second scene could have worked, but how would it go from that to Connors escaping? Him pushing himself away from Peter and going down the sewer mid-transformation?

This is the worst peace of shit movie "EVER"! I rather watch batman forever and batman & robin than watch this shit!!! >:o what needs to be done is bring back Raimi and make spider-man 4. Not make amazing spider-man/ultimate spider-man 2.

I mean come on people howard th duck is abetter movie than this, with a gay stupid looking basket ball suit, lizard looking like a goomba from mario brothers movie, and stupid story that is nothing like the comics. Raimi's was more like the comics, ok yeah he was ganna make a female volture but at least the suite looked like something out the comics.

What is so great about this movie?!?!?! Nothing thats what, complete and utter garbage!!!!!! Im affended as a comic book fan, im affended as a comic book movie fan and im affended as a spider-man fan!!!!! >:o

that first scene was the still pic from comic con but looked like it was outside not a brightly lit school bathroom. Seemed Like Rhys just wanted to be a nasty old man licking his lips and playing air cunnilingus.

God see, these scenes all fit together, and they really strengthen the developement of Connors himself and his relationship with Peter. Cutting all his scenes left the movie so empty and rushed feeling.

Hmmm, it seems between these scenes and the last couple of deleted scenes there was more of a subplot about Conners being a victim and Parker trying to help him, which would have been a much more atypical and unique dynamic between hero and threat, rather than just I'm sorry Peter but the Lizard is who I really am and then at the last minute he redeems himself like in the final film. I hope this gets a branching version so we can see the film with those scenes added back in.

TASM was only marginally better than the GL movie. And that's bad. Zero understanding of the source material and no heart whatsoever. Come back Sam. All is forgiven.

BTW, the movie didn't suck, it was good,not Great, and it was too soon for a reboot, but it could've been a lot worse. This film felt realer, as real as you can get with a 1/2 ton Lizard man walking and talking. The main hero was engaging, the girl was smart and relavent, Aunt May was not:( Uncle Ben was very well done, I still like the original origin, but you have to admit though the new take is ballsy and does work. The new suit looks like a running shoe stretched all over him which makes the whole thing appear tougher and gives it a more current teenager style. At least we got to see a villain we haven't before. My only real complaint is that he starts off looking for what happened to his parents, and then that subplot was all but sidelined, it only served to unite the key players, but there was no resolution to that part, just a hint at the end that the next one will continue to probe that same question.

Andrew Garfield is a good actor but his take on Peter Parker, no doubt guided by the script and Marc Webb, was appalling.
