This may not be anything, but Mark Hamill has finally spoken out about the animated film being developed by Warner Bros., Batman: The Killing Joke, an adaptation from the graphic novel of the same name which recounts the Joker's "origin story" as a stand-up comic turned psychopath who (does or does not?) get 'killed' by Batman at the end of the series. It's no surprise that Hamill himself would be a huge fan of the novel, and has even expressed interest in 2011 to reprise role, saying he would 'love' to provide the voice. Fans have gone as far as to create a facebook petition page demanding Hamill reprise his role in an animated adaptation in 2011.
Since news broke that they were going to adapt the novel into an animated film, fans have been vocal about his involvement in the film and now, finally, Hamill speaks. Like all of us, he too, has his fingers crossed that Warner Bros will call him to reprise his role as the Joker.
Are you guys hopeful about his involvement in the animated adaptation? Sound off below!
