fighting was good looking but the graphics were hilarious. A for effort.
jazzman - 12/4/2012, 2:05 PM
hahahaha the acting is weak but this is still better than the FOX Studio Dragonabll movie LOL
LP4 - 12/4/2012, 2:07 PM
The graphics were terrible, Piccolo made me laugh but not in a good way.

Vegeta and Nappa were the best things about this trailer.

I guess I give them an A for effort too...they tried.
Shua - 12/4/2012, 2:16 PM
ya, i have to give it a "meh" rating. For the amount of time and money they invested im not impressed.
Galaxy - 12/4/2012, 2:21 PM
HAHAHAHA!!! That was sooooo bad. I feel sorry for these guys. They tried to pump it up but was just a disappointment. The actors don't match at all and the acting and graphics were terrible. They shouldn't have done this mini fan film at all.
luckylu - 12/4/2012, 2:24 PM
honestly for a fan film it was pretty sweet. yes some (very)laughable moments but also some pretty cool intense moments. honestly a dragonball z movie would take a [frick]ing huge budget to pull off all the effects so given what they had, i say they nailed it.
Dartanian300 - 12/4/2012, 2:25 PM
I didn't think it was bad at all! If you guys thought it was then you haven't really seen bad graphics.

But coming from a small background in VFX and such, this was very well put together. The script was spot on. The effects were pretty good too. Obviously they're not feature length quality, but it's not a feature length film. The acting could have been a lot better in some parts, but overall it was really good. One of the best fan films I've seen.

I would definitely love to see what these guys could do with some more professional actors and VFX artists.

LOOKS FAN-MADE..

Greengo - 12/4/2012, 2:35 PM
Wonder what Intruder thinks of this. Lol : )
Luminus - 12/4/2012, 2:35 PM
The acting leaves a lot to be desired. Vegita and Nappa are easily the best part of this. Picollo looks weird (too young-looking, so he comes off as goofy.) Krillin's head is oddly shaped. I'm just not feeling this.
TheDARKestKNIGHT - 12/4/2012, 2:53 PM
For the budget and time they had it was ok. Nowhere near great but shows DBZ can actually be made true to source material with a big budget.
johnblake - 12/4/2012, 2:56 PM
um this made first page but not dragonball absalom. smh. sorely disapointed.
Mystery - 12/4/2012, 3:10 PM
@johnblake It's not in my power to decide what gets main and what doesn't(and this on isn't on main yet either). I also loved dragonball absolom. Best I can do is just embed it here in the comments section

manymade1 - 12/4/2012, 3:16 PM
Was this intended to be a comedy?
WEJAlen20 - 12/4/2012, 3:42 PM
I Liked it...I was cool to me, better than that BS that had millions pumped into it. They did this with no budget. Not bad guy... Not great! But not bad :-)
sweetre15 - 12/4/2012, 4:40 PM
@brazilianbatman: "i don't understand why goku is japanese, he is not from the this world!!! in the cartoons he was always white im not sure where this asian comes from."

Woah....so White people somehow qualify for Alien and otherwordly characters but not Asians? Since When? If you know any white people that live on Mars or something please let me know.....
Luminus - 12/4/2012, 5:02 PM
@Mystery: That DB: Absolution episode was NICE!!!
marvel72 - 12/4/2012, 5:02 PM
that was miles better than the hollywood version.
Luminus - 12/4/2012, 5:11 PM
I mean DB: Absolon. lol
lukeCage2012 - 12/4/2012, 6:32 PM
Honestly i liked it. these guys didn't have the budget to make good graphics or pay real actors but the get the dbz concept of how DBZ should be made. I think they did a great job with the interpretation of it. I did love the fight sequence on how they moved. If hollywood ever made a DBZ movie again these guys need to be involved like produce it.
sinestrosmight - 12/4/2012, 6:43 PM
had its moments, basically a pretty sick live action recap of the sayian saga. nowhere near theater worthy.
ISleepNow - 12/4/2012, 6:55 PM
Nice job> I'm interested in seeing what their 'Freiza Saga' will look like
ElBicho - 12/4/2012, 8:27 PM
I liked it. End of comment.
mk - 12/4/2012, 8:43 PM
It was nice.. i like vegeta and nappa the most though :O
Goggles - 12/5/2012, 3:30 AM
Nappa was the best part of this.

Overall, I liked it. It was a fan film/trailer, so I wasn't expecting anything mind blowing to come of it. Obviously the effects were going to be sub-par when compared to actual films due to the lack of an actual budget. Same goes for the acting, but then again who actually watches a fan film and expects Oscar-worthy performances? So I give this bad boy two thumbs up.
technodrome518 - 12/5/2012, 4:44 AM
Its a good start. Much to improve on, but it definitely has hope. I really liked Goku and Vegeta. Great emotion from the characters. You can tell everyone is a fan. Keep up the good work, and make more!
SuperSomething616 - 12/5/2012, 5:09 AM
Acting was weak...fighting was good...good effort on the effects...

Followed the actual cartoon abit too closely...but A for effort...
CptCrunchy - 12/5/2012, 5:11 AM
The funniest thing about this is the people in the comments calling the special effects, "graphics".
TheAmazingSpidey63 - 12/5/2012, 5:23 AM
Considering that this is a limited-budget fan film that has been worked on for quite a while now and that they stay close to the source material, I have to say that it wasn't that bad. I mean, there are things in there that will need future improvement (like the CGI and some of the actors' acting), but again, considering their budget that they had with this film, they did pretty good. Hell, take this fan film and compare it to Dragona Ball: Evolution , it's easy to see that this fan film is A LOT better than.....the other one. I thought Nappa and Vegeta were pretty suck in this trailer. Awesome. The other actors were okay, not bad. I was also hoping to see if we would get a quick look at the Oozaru Monkey (Vegeta), but I guess they'll hold off on that till later. Now that is something that I am looking forward to see. And hopefully it'll put that "Oozaru" fromDragon Ball:Evolution to shame. SHAME!!!! ;P
Sjet - 12/5/2012, 5:32 AM
This is fan made, its a lower budget then a low budget movie. Considering that, its pretty good.
xSaintx - 12/5/2012, 6:02 AM
This is a micro-budgeted, "hey we're all working for free" fan film. Sure by any studio standard, it's god awful (and hilariously so) but I found this quite entertaining for an extended trailer. It's a mock movie and a decent representation of what the first DBZ saga was all about.
IIIAdamantiumIII - 12/5/2012, 6:43 AM
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
AxlKomix - 12/5/2012, 7:19 AM
What this franchise needs is a solid reboot that seriously adapts the anime. My choice for director would be Josh Trank (Chronicle). The climatic battle in Chronicle reminded me so much of a Dragon Ball Z fight that I'm convinced he'd be the perfect director. As far as writing goes, the franchise needs someone who can keep the mythos and action that fuels the anime while either dropping or lightening the cartoon humor that's usually found in anime.
soaponapope - 12/5/2012, 7:30 AM
jesus this thing looks [frick]ing silly.
MegaMatt - 12/5/2012, 7:43 AM
Im pretty sure Goku wasnt Asian
toco89 - 12/5/2012, 8:11 AM
Vegeta and Kaio-ken Goku were the best parts for me.
MrSuperheromoviefan - 12/5/2012, 8:22 AM
as good as it can get with their resources
Optimus83 - 12/5/2012, 8:25 AM
¡¡¡Good Trailer!!!
