College Humor's Take On BATMAN Fighting Alongside THE AVENGERS

Can you imagine if Batman had fought alongside Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk and co. in Marvel's The Avengers? Well, College Humor has a pretty funny take on how that might've gone down.

This was more of a poke at Christopher Nolan's dark, realistic take on Batman than Batman himself but still humorous nonetheless. Keeping an open mind about these types of videos (Huge Batman and Nolan fan) it was actually one of the better attempts.

The Avengers is an American superhero film produced by Marvel Studios and distributed by Walt Disney Pictures, based on the Marvel Comics superhero team of the same name. It is the sixth installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The film is written and directed by Joss Whedon and features an ensemble cast, which includes Robert Downey, Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson. In The Avengers, Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization S.H.I.E.L.D., recruits Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to save the world from destruction.

Development of The Avengers began when Marvel Studios received a grant from Merrill Lynch in April 2005. After the success of the film Iron Man in May 2008, Marvel announced that The Avengers would be released in July 2011. With the signing of Scarlett Johansson in March 2009, the film was pushed back for a 2012 release. Whedon was brought on board in April 2010 and rewrote the screenplay that was originally written by Zak Penn. Production began in April 2011 in Albuquerque, New Mexico, before moving to Cleveland, Ohio in August 2011 and New York City in September 2011. The film was converted to 3D in post-production.

It's called College Humor yet their so rarely funny it's sad. Another waste of time from the talentless hags that is CH. The fact that these guys are in business and people cover their work is a testament of how stupid people are. Don't reward the talentless bc all they will do is put out more BS. This skit is a joke and not the kind they intended. I hope College Humor dies a slow painful death.
SuperPickle - 8/28/2012, 2:37 PM
That was hilarious. OK, well not really, but it was kinda funny.

Actually no, it was only sort of humorous.

Sorry, but it actually sucked.
IIIAdamantiumIII - 8/28/2012, 2:38 PM

TheseScars - 8/28/2012, 2:41 PM
Plus...Rip off HISHE much? Everyone clicked on this bc they thought it was something from a quality comedy company with good animations. This is horse shite. Go back to clown college and learn how to be funny, oh you can't learn to be funny? Okay go back to directing some D list celebs in equally non funny videos.
Daken - 8/28/2012, 2:41 PM
Enjoyed it. :D
TimelessUnknown - 8/28/2012, 2:44 PM
Their other Batman video's were hilarious, but this was just not funny in any sense of the word. Plus, I was expecting something from HISHE because of the icon, and boy was I disappointed....
Fogs - 8/28/2012, 2:45 PM
@TheseScars - actually these college humor videos are way older then hishe.
Jollem - 8/28/2012, 2:47 PM

REDSTORM - 8/28/2012, 3:04 PM
It was alright. For a moment it felt like one of the those stupid family guy jokes that take too damn long.
TheseScars - 8/28/2012, 3:07 PM
@Fogs College Humor could of been doing animations like this since the time of Jesus and it wouldn't matter. If it's not funny and doesn't satiate an audience, it might as well not exist.
butter313 - 8/28/2012, 3:13 PM
hahahahaha
Ranger14 - 8/28/2012, 3:22 PM
"Stop playing volleyball!" LMAO!

"Hi, Tony Stark. How's it going? You 18?" I laughed.
Coldblood6 - 8/28/2012, 3:48 PM
Absolutely hilarious!!!

It makes most appropriate fun of the inherent silliness of nolan's overly serious and tedious tdk movies. LOL.

StSharp - 8/28/2012, 8:29 PM
I dunno why the Avengers are partying and all that, they werent even like that in the movie lol And Im getting sick of the Batman Impersonations, the voices are always coming from young people so they dont sound good at all.
TheAbomination - 8/28/2012, 8:37 PM
Pretty hilarious stuff!! But I have no doubt that the butthurt Nolanites will take offense to this.
damntree - 8/28/2012, 8:52 PM
"Hulk appreciate your shiny hair." Lol, sorry if you didn't think this was funny it's probably because you're a moron. Seek help.
tylerox9 - 8/28/2012, 9:37 PM
that was pretty funny. I can imagined Bats being completely awestruck and dumbfounded at the sight of heroes having fun.

Come On Nolanites. Why so butthurt?
Super12 - 8/28/2012, 9:42 PM
Anyone who didn't enjoy this needs to leave. Like right now lol. I agree HISHE is better but CH is usually always giving us gold. Watch "Dark Knight meets Superman" if you don't like this one
AnimatedTdot - 8/28/2012, 10:03 PM
I think this one would fair better at humor....

Maxi91291 - 8/29/2012, 12:22 AM
I like it ...
BuckyCap ... best line :)
113 - 8/29/2012, 12:37 AM
LMFAO. They completely nailed it on this.

That's 100% Batman.
rosco71 - 8/29/2012, 12:59 AM
Crap, the animation crap, Thor looked tiny!
DarthBob - 8/29/2012, 4:53 AM
The Kanye rises video is one of the worst POS I have ever seen. The animation looks like it was done by a 4 year old with a box of crayons and the humor is absolutely nonexistent.
ralfinader - 8/29/2012, 5:10 AM
The premise is funny. The execution? Not so much. Maybe they will be funnier and less like a Saturday Night Live skit that doesn't know how to end when they get their degrees.
Thelastdalek - 8/29/2012, 6:17 AM
I thought it was pretty funny not hilarious but pretty funny.

@TheseScars

Elitest prick
Fogs - 8/29/2012, 7:59 AM
@TheseScars - I'm not talking about quality. It's a fact. And I agree wit @Thelastdalek. Funny, not hilarious.
Clundgren - 8/29/2012, 8:50 AM
I thought it was amusing.
