COMICS: First Look At Gary Frank's Take On "The New 52" Superman

Now he looks like Charlie Sheen pre-addiction.

Looks good, not a great cover but still good. Excellent art though.

And it's an "okay" cover

I like the new costume, my only issue is when some artists draw his waist and make it look like he now wears blue trunks when in fact there are no trunks. I hope that even though he will become the full superman they keep him somewhat powered down, so can get bashed around more, feels a struggle when lifting heavy loads etc, and don't make his life too easy, in someways make him find it tough to hold down the mantle of Superman, a job and a personal life, without going overboard.

Looks cool. Can't wait to read the new 52. I'm a "graphic novel" only reader so I won't get any of these til July. Not sure why DC can't push these books out a little faster!!!!! UGH!!

Gary Frank's take on Superman is usually inspired by the look of Christopher Reeve. I wonder who he's using for this current interpretation.

He does look like Charlie Sheen lmfao and yeah the suit looks awesome depending on the artist in this pic it looks like monkey dung as well as Supes himself

@Banner123 - I always thought of Charlie as a Kent . . .

Instead of the construction worker falling and splattering all over the ground, he falls and gets split in half on Superman's shoulder.

and most of the artist draw those lines to wear the suit looks like armor instead of lines

Seems like Gary changed his style a bit. First time they showed one of his DCnU Superman drawings it still looked a bit like Chris Reeve

@Pux this new one is just poorly designed. Lines everywhre, S emblem shapes everywhere. Stupid red trimming. But, you seem to dig the 90s BS

BTW, you don't need to have read comics then to know what happened. Internet is a great search tool. Go learn something, dude.
