Art in AQUAMAN is really good
gaikinger - 7/24/2012, 10:11 PM
Black Manta has been my favorite villain since Superfriends vs. Legion of Doom.
GLprime2814 - 7/24/2012, 10:11 PM
Aquaman is a great read, art is awesome.
AnonymousGuy - 7/24/2012, 11:01 PM
Of all DC characters, I think Aquaman benefitted the most from the New 52 relaunch.
greenlanter13 - 7/24/2012, 11:18 PM
Aquaman and gl are really good books
KidGoku - 7/25/2012, 12:23 AM
Amazing art!!!
mctrinket - 7/25/2012, 3:12 AM
Nice artwork, but no matter how your dress it up, Aquaman still sucks.
AtomicChipmunk - 7/25/2012, 3:22 AM
@mctrinket

Have you ever read an Aquaman book? Not necessarily the new 52 run.

If no, gtfo.

Else

What the hell someone used emo hair and baddass in the same sentence. Sorry Justin Beieaver beiger or whatever his name is can never be badass no matter whose head his hair sits on.
Ichaos - 7/25/2012, 4:40 AM
I cant tell from those few pages But it appears they are trying to turn him into Namor with blonde hair
haljordan73 - 7/25/2012, 4:45 AM
Love these books!

@Ichaos

Have you noticed on the cover that it is raining?

@Ichaos
You should read the first 10 issues before making assumptions.

@sosthetruth
Your local comic book store? Internet? (midtown comics, or ebay) or just wait for the hardcover edition.

ART'S GOOD...
MJPETTY7 - 7/25/2012, 6:52 AM
Loving Aquaman, they're finally doing justice to the character while also explaining things that we've wondered since his creation.

I'm enjoying Green Lantern, not as much as before the New 52, but Sinestro's growing on me. I'm glad that Hal finally has a ring back under his control though, now he just needs to be brought back into the Corps and Ganthet needs to be "un-lobotomized".
MJPETTY7 - 7/25/2012, 7:07 AM
Also, my friend/co-host Dan & I covered the first 10 issues of the current Aquaman run on our latest episode of our DC Nation Podcast, check it out! http://acrosstheairwaves.com/dcnationweek19
pepe - 7/25/2012, 7:32 AM
I dont get the new 52 crap...
Intothepoop - 7/25/2012, 7:38 AM
Aquaman is the shit nowadays. I've always liked him, his comic was just never worth getting. Now it's one of the best.
Batcowliveson - 7/25/2012, 8:29 AM
That's a badass aquaman. Green lantern is going back to what works best it seems
Minotauro - 7/25/2012, 8:51 AM
@Pepe - New 52 crap? For superman fans, yes.
BANEofExistence - 7/25/2012, 9:38 AM
IMO New 52 tops

1- Batman
2- Aquaman
3- Green Lantern
4- The Flash
5- Swamp Thing
6- Animal man
7- Justice League
8- Wonder Woman
9- Some of the DC Universe presents (Vandal Savage series and Challangers of the unknown)
BANEofExistence - 7/25/2012, 9:45 AM
o and if they did a dc shared universe, I agree with your list of

2013 - "Man of Steel" (General Zodd)
2014 - "Wonder Woman" (Cheetah or Ares)
2015 - "Batman" Reboot (Riddler? Killer Croc? Prnguin?) and "The Flash" (Mirror Master or Captain Cold)
2016 - "Aquaman" (Orm or Black manta) and "Green Lantern" Reboot (perhaps MoS 2 in winter)
2017 - "Justice League"

for a Justice Leauge film I think they should avoid Darkseid now the Avengers are doing Thanos as the general audience would be like booo copy of Avengers!!! Id like to see maybe Vandal Savage and maybe his Legion of Doom (Similar to Justice Leauge: Doom) if they want to introduce a new member of the Leauge then I guess Cyborg (Yes it bugged me at first, hes growing on me) Hell I'd settle for a Superman/Batman film and justice leauge after that
TheActionAce - 7/26/2012, 10:35 AM
I am loving what the new 52 has done for Aquaman
and he is getting the respect he deserves
always liked but didn't really bother getting his books

but now he is on the top of my pull list

and Sinestro getting owned = Damn!
