Guys this is great stuff. I would love to visit that place..a bit out of the way though!

That's cool you actually got confirmation about Bale being in the running for Robin.

Tell Johnny Love i want his T Shirt!
jman1977 - 8/21/2009, 10:05 AM
Johnny does not post on CBM, he is more of a reader then a poster but he does frequent the site quite a bit.
RorMachine - 8/21/2009, 10:22 AM
Was your comment a "First"? We don't like Firsters round these here parts boy!;)
LexLuthor - 8/21/2009, 10:37 AM
good stuff. Maybe I'll plan a trip there.

Lex approves.
Spock - 8/21/2009, 11:03 AM
I don't live far away may be one day. Omaha, NE to Elkhart, IN.
LAMEtrain - 8/21/2009, 11:16 AM
All three of these guys.....defiantly virgins.
LAMEtrain - 8/21/2009, 11:26 AM
I am not the one Touring the "Hall of Heros" aka some guys living room full of stuff he bought on ebay.
InFamouslyCool - 8/21/2009, 11:32 AM
a museum in his moms basement.

you know you're complete tool when you own a flash, wolverine, batman, superman, or any superhero t-shirt (and wear it proudly). hahahahahahahaha..

..nerds get so defensice of their fellow nerds. =]
LAMEtrain - 8/21/2009, 11:40 AM
Haha I would love to rename myself Jman or Johnny Love like those guys, it helps cover up the fact that the only boobs I have seen are streamed off of pornotube.com
MatchesMalone - 8/21/2009, 11:50 AM
I'm from South Bend, IN, originally, which is right next to Elkhart. I can't believe I've never heard of this place before! I must be slipping in my old age!

Ror-If you ever find yourself in the states, hit me up. South Bend is the home of the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. We could have a few pints at the pub and pick fights with Notre Dame students, or "Domers" as we so affectionately refer to them as. Or we could track down LAMEtrain and beat him up dressed as superheroes! Your call.
RorMachine - 8/21/2009, 11:51 AM
Wow LAMEtrain your so cool and Jockish with your boob comments, i bet you have seen sooo many! I bet you can drink a six pack in record time too and smash the empty cans into nerds faces, then belch the national anthem!

haha, Matches i may just take you up on that! But in fairness, i don't think us nerdy types would stand a chance against Lametard and his unfeasibly cool friends:(
jman1977 - 8/21/2009, 11:58 AM
It's nice to see someone on here from my home town!! Ror if you ever come stateside you have to make a trip to South Bend, the hall of heroes is the only Comic Book Museum anywhere. Not to mention Notre Dame, home of the fightin Irish, and a few good pubs to boot.
InFamouslyCool - 8/21/2009, 12:24 PM
this is like watching revenge of the nerds. lmbao
LAMEtrain - 8/21/2009, 12:31 PM
How do you know I am jockish? I am on this website daily. Have you seen the other video from Hall of heros? Where the guy dresses as the Green Lantern? I am sorry i call em like I see em.
LEEE777 - 8/21/2009, 1:14 PM
Very very cool guys! Luv it!!! ; )

Heh heh, very cool, damn, i'll say it again, cool!
Spock - 8/21/2009, 1:14 PM
@ Jman, Oh had a typo, cut me some slack bro. LOL, I've fixed it.

@ CBM not a good idea with the changing comments section. I think it was fine like it was with the ability only to change what u put in. Not what other put, U guys & maybe some of the editiors should only be able to do that. Just coming from an IT students point of view.
jman1977 - 8/21/2009, 1:15 PM
It's unfortunate when people that do nothing but hate get on here and ugly up the comment board. Grow up, quite acting like you still drag on your moms teet. It messes it up for the fans that really like what we have accomplished and have to show.

Allen is a supernice guy with a collection that no one on this site will ever achieve. On top of that he knows more about Comic Books and the movies that come from them then the two of you. Quit hating SUCKERS!

jman1977 - 8/21/2009, 1:17 PM
spock its all good brother, I just wanted to make sure you were'nt going to travel to the wrong state:)
comicfanADDICT - 8/21/2009, 1:27 PM
I agree its a little childish to bicker on a comments board. Meant for discussing the topics. By egging these people on we just make our public appearance seem worse, just ignore him.

If Teabag didn't respond it would have just went away. And saying things like team up and dress as comic characters and kick his us didn't really help our cause. Beat him up, yes......as a dressed up.....not helping
Spock - 8/21/2009, 1:29 PM
@ lametrain no offense but you are commenting on same article where u are talking about people. I don't see the Logic in that @ all!
jman1977 - 8/21/2009, 1:30 PM
I agree. Back on topic.....
Rumblebeast - 8/21/2009, 1:32 PM
yeah lametrain i bet you would be one of those ppl who get a fake id and name yourself McLovin trying to get girls...when your version of McLovin would be Mcnuthin

and infamous...lmbao?? whats that lick my balls all oooooo??? get off Teabags thing and get your own..plus i think its lmFao..

"Im the beast and im always ready to rumble"
LAMEtrain - 8/21/2009, 1:38 PM
Actually my fake ID is Barry McCockinu, but I think Rumblebeast is much better. Because You are a beast and are always ready to rumble. On the internet, logged in from the basement, at your moms house, talking to you WOW buddies on facebook, Eating a Oven bake pizza and drinking mountain dew. All the time trying to find more excuses why you don't have a girlfriend, so you can convince your dad your not gay.
Rumblebeast - 8/21/2009, 1:41 PM
c now i can see why your name is lame...cuz that was truly lame....hahaha all i can do is laugh at you..while you throw every lame excuse and stereotype just to make you look like such a big tough guy...ahhhhh who's a big tough scary dude...ahhhh you...
now get over yourself
LAMEtrain - 8/21/2009, 1:46 PM
Your name is rumblebeast

and your slogan is

"Im the beast and im always ready to rumble"

The fact you have a slogan is ridiculous

How does one "rumble" over the internet anyways?

No your a Towel......
get over yourself

farmboy - 8/21/2009, 1:51 PM

Rumblebeast - 8/21/2009, 2:09 PM
urs is too lame..well its just lame..no fun...just lame
LAMEtrain - 8/21/2009, 2:17 PM
at least I didn't take the time to come up with a slogan

"Im the beast and im always ready to rumble"

Is this rumbling over the net?
Am I winning? or do we need to login to WOW to do that?
Because I only have a level seven "I don't give a crap"

Rumblebeast - 8/21/2009, 3:01 PM

KentAllard - 8/21/2009, 3:16 PM

longbowhunter - 8/21/2009, 4:22 PM

johnrob10us - 8/21/2009, 5:08 PM

LEEE777 - 8/21/2009, 5:29 PM

MatchesMalone - 8/22/2009, 4:50 AM
comicfanADDICT-You're probably right about not egging people on. My comment was intended to be a joke. Maybe I should have ended it with an lol or a smiley face just to be clear, but sometimes I can't just sit by and let the haters think they have the upper hand. I don't understand why certain people get on this site just to talk shit. I mean, this is supposed to be a forum where like-minded people can get together and discuss our love of all things comic book related, so I'll try to keep my comments relevant, but on the flipside of that coin, anyone that comes here to make fun of us is going to recieve a little bit of their own medicine. What's nerdier, geeking out about comics on the internet, or coming up with a screen name and an avatar to make fun of said nerds? Sorry, I'm rambling. Back to geeking out!
comicfanADDICT - 8/22/2009, 9:55 AM
I agree totally with you, I am a long time reader, but have only been posting for a short while. I have to admit it is fun to read the "Beefs". Some of the stuff that Lametrain said was pretty funny, but he(or she or it) does push the comfort envelope. Even though the first post may have offend a few and not been politically correct, it still is an opinion of the video. Teabag's comment seems a bit of an instigation, and I am gonna have to say with out him making it personal, this guy would have just gone away.
MatchesMalone - 8/22/2009, 10:16 AM
ADDICT-Welcome aboard! I just don't see any comic fan NOT thinking the Hall of Heroes is cool and the difference between teabag and lamebrain is that teabag is witty, the other guy just sounds either vindictive and/or jealous that he doesn't have his own museum. But you're definitely right about ignoring the idiots. God I miss supermike;)
LEEE777 - 8/22/2009, 4:45 PM
ADDICT @ Welcome fella!

Damn i miss supermike too lol.
LEEE777 - 8/22/2009, 4:47 PM
P.S. Isn't that LAMEBRAIN???? ; D
lc - 8/22/2009, 5:26 PM
you miss alot in more ways than one lol ;)
Kratos6 - 8/23/2009, 7:51 AM
Hey guys does this remind you of any one posting comments on here... Lametrain=

LAMEtrain - 8/23/2009, 2:27 PM
Thats me on the left. You know the one actually hanging out with people? The one not weeping in the basement.
LAMEtrain - 8/23/2009, 2:46 PM
http://www.comicbookmovie.com/fansites/LetsCutTheBS/news/?a=8866

If you can click on this link, and watch the entire green lantern first flight review and not have the "wow this is childish" or "This is just a bit ridiculous" or "This guy is a freakin loser", I will banish myself from this comment section. But you need to give me a reason why you didn't think that way.

P.S. how did he get a green lantern suit that big?
jman1977 - 8/25/2009, 10:35 AM
lametrain, stay on topic dude, the green lantern thing was something we thought we would try, sorry for you that you didnt like it. Cant please everyone. However this forum is about the Hall Of Heroes itsself, The Batcave is pretty cool and that will be part 2.
LAMEtrain - 8/25/2009, 10:57 AM
In all honesty the younger audience may have thought it was interesting
jman1977 - 8/25/2009, 11:32 AM
The head editor liked it Lametrain. Still you argue? He put the article up on the Whats hot section just like this one. And it seems you still are the only person with a negative attitude. We got it, you didnt like the show, sweet, move on, next topic for you to hate on,,,
BeauFromLEOG - 8/28/2009, 2:50 AM
So, here is "Hall of heroes" the comic book company he talks of list of output:

Cyberfrog
Hall of Heroes (1993) - Featuring:
Dead Bolt - by Trent Kaniuga
Nadir
Mouning Star
Vortex(1993) - by Matt Martin
Creed (1994) - by Trent Kaniuga
Fuzzy Buzzard and Friends (April, 1995) - by Ethan Van Sciver
Snowman (1995) - by Matt Martin
Sleepwalking (1996)
Bog Swamp Demon (1996)
Hall of Heroes Presents (1996) - Featuring:
Slingers
Salamandroid
The Fuzz
Sinnister
Elijah's Fury in the Last Days - by Keith Alan Morris
Power of the Golem
Turaxx
The Becoming
Hall of Horrors (1997) - with stories featuring Grin, Bog, and Sinister.
Hall of Heroes: Halloween Special (1997)
Dragon's Bane (1999)

Uhh. Yeah. Anybody hear about these titles? AT ALL?

I really don't want to rag on this guy-he seems nice, but the "BACK IN THE NINETIES" IE: the last time anybody could catch him in a lie via the internet, seems really disengenuous. Can anybody find this guy's work online?

It would be a lot cooler of him to say "Hey! I like comicbook heroes and set up a tribute to them. He seems to be going out of his way to validate himself.

Still. A good video. I wish he came off more as a normal guy than as a wannabe.
ReddHotPoker - 9/5/2009, 11:07 AM
Actually, i believe he said "small print" meaning limited copies, very small circulation. They're probably not online.

Anyway, don't hate. The guy is doing his thing and has accomplished more than most of us have. Just reading comics is not an accomplishment. This guy not only created but PUBLISHED his own stuff.

Good for him! Rock on, Al!
