Superman New Fancast

This is my second attempt at a fancast for a Superman movie.

Superman Clark Kent Scott Porter


The casting of Superman Clark Kent wasn't well recieved.
So I recasted the role with Scott Porter.
He has a "Superman" look and is not a huge star which is
perfect for the role.
Previous Choice Will Reeve.
Lois Lane Rachel McAdams


She was in my last fancast so I decided to stick with her.
Jimmy Olsen Chris Colfer


He just seemed to be Jimmy Olsen to me.
Perry White Albert Finney


It was hard to find somebody for the role of Perry White.
I thought of recasting it with Alec Baldwin but he seemed
to be a little bit young for the part. Albert Finney fits
in the right age category for the Editor in Chief of the
Daily Planet newspaper.
Jor-El and Lara Jim Caviezel and Mariska Hargitay



I got some negative comments in regards to this casting.
So I decided to recast the roles with Jim Caviezel and Mariska
Hargitay.
For Jor-El the biological father of Superman Jim Caviezel seemed
to be the perfect fit. He was in consideration before I thought
of casting Tom Welling in the role. And with Lara Mariska Hargitay she
seemed to be just right because of her work on Law and Order SVU and
doing small TV movie roles. And I just had a feeling that she would
be perfect for the role of Superman's biological mother. And I believe
that she would have good chemistry with Jim on screen.
Previous choices Tom Welling and Taylor Swift.
Cat Grant Elizabeth Banks


She seems to me to be the best choice for the Daily Planet
gossip collumist Cat Grant. And it would be fun to see her
match up against Rachel McAdams as Lois Lane.
General Sam Lane Stephen Lang

He has played military roles in alot of movies over the last
few years so it's a natural to cast him as General Sam Lane
Lois Lane's father.
Jonathan and Martha Kent Harrison Ford and Susan Sarandon



Everbody liked the casting of Harrison Ford and Susan Sarandon
as Superman's adoptive parents so I stuck with them.
Lex Luthor Billy Zane

He is Lex Luthor as far as I can tell.
Professor Emil Hamilton Richard Schiff

He's been cast in the role for the Man of Steel movie.
And he is perfect for Professor Emil Hamilton.
Brainiac Eric Bana


I thought of casting him as Lex Luthor but after watching
the movie Star Trek I changed my mind and said Brainiac.
John Corben/Metallo Bradley Cooper


My first choice for Metallo was Sam Worthington because of his
muscular build but after hearing the comments made on him I decided
to recast the role with Bradley Cooper. He can act and if he bulks
up for the role he can provide that real threat for Superman.

Bizarro Superman Scott Porter


I decided to have Bizarro in my Superman film based upon
the confrontation between Superman and Lex Luthor. Scott Porter
will have to play Bizarro based upon the fact that Bizarro is
a clone of Superman.
Darkseid CGI Michael Ironside (voice)


Everybody seems to like Michael Ironside as the Voice of Darkseid.
So that is why I decided to cast him. The rest would have to be
CGI.
And their is my cast for a Superman movie. I hope you enjoy.

Gotta say though, never thought of Bana as Braniac, but would love 2 c it now...

I wasnt to sure bout this after seeing Porter as Superman and the same ol' Lois but aside from them and Lex (never thought he was good enough for that role) its a great cast. Would love to see bana as Lex. He gives that vibe that i get from the Animated series-Lex (also, still, a great Brainiac)

Scott Porter is a tad too small for Superman. Go about 4-5" and you're fine. Other than that, the rest are fine enough.

need a different Jimmy. that kid can't actually act. his onscreen persona is just him. he is literally the same offscreen as he is onscreen. he can't seem to play anything else.

Eric Bana is the Australian Will Smith with the big ears and such.
