Speaking with Detroit Sports 105.1, Jennifer revealed that she'll be in Detroit all summer while her Ben shoots Batman vs Superman. She doesn't give exact dates but she does confirm the two will be there in the summer while filming takes place for the MOS sequel.“I’ll be there [Detroit] this summer… yep, all summer,” she said. “ My husband [Ben Affleck] is [filming]. Batman is shooting and…or whatever it is called. I don’t know what it’s called…Superman with Batman, whatever it is. But he is shooting this summer, so we’ll be there.” We should be seeing a lot of set pics when the film is shooting in Detroit. Special thanks to Bekss

"Snyder will direct the film from a screenplay written by David S. Goyer, from a story co-created by Goyer and Snyder. Zack Snyder’s Superman/Batman film stars Henry Cavill, reprising his role as Superman/Clark Kent, and Ben Affleck as Batman/Bruce Wayne. The film will also reunite “Man of Steel” stars Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane, and also stars Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman/Diana Prince. Zack Snyder’s untitled Superman/Batman film which will now be arriving in theaters May 6, 2016."

Well...wasn't it on Febuary?
BlueMex - 2/3/2014, 11:29 AM
This does not say he "Starts" filming in the summer, simply states she will be there in summer. His work can be anywhere from now to past this summer.

What?? You mean all those rumors that some dickweed here and some random bitch on Twitter tried to start turned out to be FALSE??

Shocker!

"Batman is shooting and…or whatever it is called. I don’t know what it’s called…Superman with Batman, whatever it is."

That's pretty much its offical name at the moment.

I'm guessing the Superman team will be filming now... Then once the snow is gone they'll film the batman, lex and Wonder Woman scenes
ColonelKilgore - 2/3/2014, 11:35 AM
Detroit looks like a destroyed Metropolis anyways.

Great news, really can't wait to see this film and with the huge rumor (don't know if confirmed or not) of Justice League filming right after gets me incredibly hyped. I still don't know how to feel about the possibilities of having The Rock play John Stewart but I'm sure he would do the role Justice no doubt. I also wonder how they'll handle the cinematic shorts after the end credits? Will Batman vs. Superman get one?? So many questions.. also can't wait to see the SUITS/COSTUMES!!

2016:
X-Men: Apocalypse
Batman vs. Superman
The Amazing Spider-Man 3
Avatar 2
Wrath of the Planet of the Apes
Doctor Strange (possibility)
Thor 3 (possibility)
Prometheus 2 (possibility)
DestinyAboveUs - 2/3/2014, 11:36 AM
Can't believe people actually believed Ben Affleck pulled out lol.

Still waiting on that suit and the goddamn title.
JasonBlue - 2/3/2014, 11:37 AM
@theblacknerd - what if the rock is Cyborg?
Pasto - 2/3/2014, 11:38 AM
Yeah buddy.
TheBlackNerd - 2/3/2014, 11:44 AM
@JasonBlue

Hmmm, never really thought of that. He wouldn't need much spare parts to make him look bulky/huge lol but I dunno I'd rather see him as a villain like Darksied or Apocalypse. It's not that he's too huge or anything but I just don't see him as John Stewart. I don't care what anyone says but the first thing I thought about when it came to John Stewart was Idris Elba. People say he's in everyone's ideal choice but that's who I could picture in the role or possibly Michael J White (who I did want to see as bishop) so many choices, but there's no doubt at all that his name would bring in more audiences.

The new film is currently being written by Chris Terrio, from a screenplay by David S. Goyer. Charles Roven and Deborah Snyder are producing, with Benjamin Melniker, Michael E. Uslan, Wesley Coller, David S. Goyer and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.*

It is no longer a David Goyer script.

Sorry to be "That Guy" but Eisenberg took any and all of my interest off this film.
MetahumanAbominationKlone - 2/3/2014, 11:47 AM
I'm still amazed they haven't even announced the [frick]ing title of the film. This film hasn't even got a wikipedia page because of it. All the information is contained in a shitty little section for Man of Steel.
MetahumanAbominationKlone - 2/3/2014, 11:47 AM
@Smarfi

And thank [frick] for that.
kevberg - 2/3/2014, 11:50 AM
HAHAHA.. Love that "reputable " Brazilian source that said he s GONE from the project.

@GambitFreak: Why has he done that. if you look at what a typical modern CEO looks like people think Zuckerberg, or any of the other tech and app millionaires. So, I think it makes sense that Lex matches that contempary image.

I guess I do see your concern that LexCorp is clearly shown as more of a 'Industrial' type business. However, maybe this is a Lex that has been thrust into leadership, maybe his father died during the attack, making him obsessive with aliens and Superman.

Also a I think he provides a great contrast to Superman, who is physical perfection, a bit of a brute (early stage) and is 'God-like' whereas Eisenberg is small, human and will need to be smart to the point of arrogance something Eisenberg does well. So his fear factor will cold from his scary levels of IQ and planning.

Respect your opinion, guess it is a wait or see.

Oh I also don't care if he has hair. For me one of the best portrayals of Lex was in Lois and Clark and his hair didn't reflect his nature.
JorL5150 - 2/3/2014, 12:06 PM
Gonna be a tough two years waiting on this

I hope it's great cause we'll be staring down the barrel of the Shitlery Clunton regime in 2016
TheUltimateSuperman92 - 2/3/2014, 12:06 PM
This movie is still far far far away... it's more than 2 years from now ...much can happen in these two years
RamonSuarez - 2/3/2014, 12:07 PM
I have some reservations. First and foremost, we still have the problem of this not being a real Man of Steel sequel. We really need to see the world in which Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor makes sense. But we’re skipping right over the world building in favor of getting to “Batman and Superman punch each other”. I get the feeling we’re just supposed to read the subtext of this choice—that Lex Luthor will now be a twitchy asshole type, sort of Lex Luthor by way of Mark Zuckerberg—and have that be enough. I’d like to build up Luthor as a proper villain, to take the time to learn what makes him so formidable that Superman—the all-powerful being who single-handedly shut down an alien invasion—can’t handle him. But I suspect it’s going to come down to, “Oh he’s a hacker, call Batman”.

There’s also the issue that none of these casting decisions seem to belong to the same movie. Henry Cavill & Co. is one movie (the lost Man of Steel sequel); Ben Affleck, Jesse Eisenberg and Jeremy Irons (cast as Batman’s butler Alfred) belong to another; and Gal Gadot and Jason Momoa are from yet another. It’s like Warner Brothers/DC is mashing three separate projects into one, and the pieces aren’t quite fitting together. That lack of cohesion doesn’t do much for my confidence in this project.

I can't wait to see what they do with his version of Batman. I would like to see his Batmoblie also being able to be used as a hovercraft vehicle. I think that would be interesting to see.

You're on a [frick]ing role McNy, challenging the big users for news!

Arrowhead77 - 2/3/2014, 12:14 PM
I am guessing that old rumor is true where it's mostly a Man of Steel flick... Batman is only in it for an hour or so.
fettastic - 2/3/2014, 12:15 PM
Maybe the title is:

Superman + Batman = U Fuqqed Up Bro
TheBaroness89 - 2/3/2014, 12:16 PM

HavocPrime - 2/3/2014, 12:20 PM
