Chris Pine as Wesley
He nails the charisma and acting habilities required. A great actor when given a chance, just watch the great Star Trek, and he looks just like Wesley should look.

Anne Hathaway as Buttercup
She does not only have played a princess before, she also can be really funny if asked and acted with Chris Pine before in The Princess Diaries 2. She only needs to die her hair blonde.

Jason Patrick as Prince Humperdinck
I know this is a weird choice, but after seeing The Losers, I know Patrick can play a villanous douchebag, I think it would work.

Nestor Carbonell as Iñigo Montoya
A great actor, who was very funny as Batmanuel and he has the charisma and comedy required to play Iñigo. Plus, according to IMDb he is of Cuban and Spanish descent. I'm actually very proud of this choice.

Christoph Waltz as Count Tyrone Rugen
In his fancast, ager said Christoph Waltz looks very similar to the character, and he was right. He is also happens to be very funny, just check out the brilliant Inglorious Basterds.

Kevin Durand as Fezzik
I know, I know, he is not as tall as Andre, but he is pretty physical imposing and with a few computer tricks (ala Harry Potter or Lord of the Rings), you're done.

Timothy Spall as Vizzini
He is not as short as Wallace Shawn, but he is a great skilled actor that would make wonders with the role.

Robin Williams as Miracle Max
One of my favorite actors, that would be hilarious in this short role. Just put him make-up.

Joan Cusack as Valerie
I just thought she would be a good fit after seeing school of rock.

Eddie Izzard as the Impressive Clergyman
A cameo just for fun, and because Izzard is hilarious.

Dan Fogler as the Albino
I just love Dan Fogler, he is a really funny guy. I just saw Fanboys and laughed really hard with his character. ager casted Jack Black as the Albino, so I'm casting Fogler because I think he is the next Jack Black.

Patrick Stewart as the Grandfather
I'm just only casting him because he has a great voice and he is familiar eith comedies, too.

Zachary Gordon as the Grandson
The best child actor of today, who also happens to be funny.

Another good one. Have u seen Ramone@ Bride fancast? I think his WEsley beats either one of ours. Folger is WAY TOO funny. Just watched Good Luck Chuck. Nice Humperdink. I'd like to see our 3 combined for the perfect new cast

Although this is one movie that should never be remade, if it did I would use your cast because it still gives off that old school classic feeling The Princess Bride needs.
REMY1 - 10/3/2011, 7:49 AM
You sir are an artist with this fancast.

WOW! Normally I would bash someone trying to remake this classic tale, but I really love this cast. It is possible that this could usurp the original. Well Done!

great stuff, I love the original and I don't see a problem with this cast.
