Royal Mail Reveal DOCTOR WHO Themed Stamps
Marking the 50th anniversary of British sci-fi show Doctor Who all 11 Doctors will be getting their own first class stamp, as well as some villains in a second class set, thanks to postal service Royal Mail.

With the Christmas Special, 'The Snowmen', just shown UK's Royal Mail have announced a set of Doctor Who theme stamps. The collection marks the 50th anniversary of sci-fi show, with all 11 Doctors getting their own first class stamp; and four of the show's most popular villains, including the Daleks, the Cybermen, the Ood, and the frightening Weeping Angels, starring on the second class set.
The show first ran from 1963 to 1989, now with a successful revival the show returned to Saturday night UK schedules in 2005. The show's current head writer, Steven Moffat, has promised "tremendous surprises" for the golden 50th anniversary next year, but says he will be keeping them under wraps.
Andrew Hammond of the Royal Mail said the commemorative selection "pay tribute to the brilliant actors that have played the Doctor over the years, as well as the adversaries that helped make the show so popular".
The Royal Mail stamps will be available in March.
The time travelling adventurer is currently played by Matt Smith and joining him for the 50th anniversary year is new co-star Jenna-Louise Coleman, playing Clara who will be the Doctor's new companion in the 2013 series.
The second half of series 7 will air sometime in early 2013 on BBC One (UK) and BBC America (USA).
