The Amazing Spider-Man is the story of Peter Parker (Garfield), an outcast high schooler who was abandoned by his parents as a boy, leaving him to be raised by his Uncle Ben (Sheen) and Aunt May (Field). Like most teenagers, Peter is trying to figure out who he is and how he got to be the person he is today. Peter is also finding his way with his first high school crush, Gwen Stacy (Stone), and together, they struggle with love, commitment, and secrets. As Peter discovers a mysterious briefcase that belonged to his father, he begins a quest to understand his parents' disappearance - leading him directly to Oscorp and the lab of Dr Curt Connors (Ifans), his father's former partner. As Spider-Man is set on a collision course with Connors' alter-ego, The Lizard, Peter will make life-altering choices to use his powers and shape his destiny to become a hero.

Its a good thing those silver soles on the bottom of the feet were just for the stuntman and the stunt-suit and aren't part of the actual suit. They wouldve ruined the entire look of it.

I like the suit, the movie looks good, im really excited for it.

Nothing would make me happier than for us to get a kickass Spiderman movie and then a kickass Batman movie after that. Greatest year for comic book movies ever.

So it seems that they didn't really care about the belt since spidey will be in these iconic Spider-Man poses where you can't see. Otherwise the suit looks like a contemporary version of the comic suit. I admit initially I was on the fence about this but I'm stoked for it now. In terms of story and action I think it's going to own the Raimi films.

my only problem is that the webbing are not really "webbing". Just lines. :/
and there are so much creases on the suit.

Other than that, it will look great on film :)

I love the suit in movie, but all the promotional images and merchandise do not match the actual suit colors in the movie itself.

Why do they keep using the red shoes in the promo art but the shoes in the film are red?
