EXCLUSIVE: Fabiola Sarah Volant'e May Be Wonder Woman

An exclusive interview with Fabiola Sarah Volant'e on Wonder Woman
We all have been patiently waiting for word on who the next Wonder Woman will be, there has been much rukor and speculation, thus far the only confirmation we have had is that Megan gale is oout of the running. Well I have some new information about a prospective Wonder Woman that I know you will find very interesting.
Many of you may remember that a few months back a young woman approached Superherohotties.com about the prospect of her becoming Wonder Woman, well that woman was Fabiola Sarah Volant'e. Curious I researched the possibility of her becoming Wonder Woman, and I found out through a source that she is in the running for the role of Wonder Woman. Wanting to know more about Fabiola I recently came into contact with her to find out a little more about this unknown beauty.

This lovely young woman is currently being represented by Kay Billings of Chateau Billings in Beverly Hills. Fabiola is a lovely woman of Greek and Italian descent, she is fluent in both Spanish and Italian. Despite her ancestry she is a self professed LA Woman, and is all American. Fabiola admits that her biggest shortcoming for the role is her 5’6” height, but with today’s computer imagery she can easily look six foot, besides were are you hosestly going to find a six foot actress right for this role?

Fabiola says she is passionate about the character of Wonder Woman and knows that bringing her to the big screen will be no easy task. Fabiola believes that Wonder Woman is more than just a symbol for the perfect woman, but that she is and ideal. An ideal that shows us all that there is still beauty, kindness and hope left in the world. Fabiola feels quite strongly towards the strength of Wonder Woman “W.W. is more than a fable, beyond mythical, and not just a fantasy. W.W. is knowledgeable, courageous, empathetic and sympathetic. She carries with her the power to encourage and understands the magnitude of her responsibilities.”

Fabiola realizes that the road to bring the Amazonian beauty to life will be long and arduous “The role of W.W. is not one just handed on a silver platter, it is to be earned and honored. The training course is one of difficulty and one of reverence.”

This young beauty seems to have a true love and understanding of the character, and she seems determined to do the character of Wonder Woman justice, by taking inspiration from Wonder Woman and being all that she can be.

"This young beauty seems to have a true love and understanding of the character, and she seems determined to do the character of Wonder Woman justice"

At least she has love for the character and an understanding of what it would take to bring WW to life on the big screen. To be Wonder Woman you must understand her. It reminds me of how Hugh Jackman spoke of Wolverine when the project was underway. ALways talking about getting it right for the comic fans and all that. (Did he get it right? I havent seen the movie yet!) But I dont know. Her height can be tricked but her acting? fighting? She reminds me of a lingerie model more than an Amazon. Course she could tone up like Jessica Biel but still... Does anyone know anything about her work? I have never heard of her. Plus she doesnt look much like Wonder Woman IMHO. I don't know. If we had to pick I think I may pass.
KeepItReal - 5/6/2009, 10:25 PM
Im with KIR on this one. What does her resume look like? All we have here are modeling shots. Even Megan Gale had a modest acting portfolio. Fabiola? Come on, Hawk. I'm thinking you're judging by sight here. Now, if she has done a ton of independent films and modeled, you would then have my attention. But seriously, I hope the casting agents vet these people thoroughly and not try and dupicate Linda Carter, the way Singerman copied Donner's/Reeve's Superman. I want EPIC! 300 and Gladiator meets LOTR and Chronicles of Narnia. And that is kinda how I see this working. Sprinkled with a little Dirty Harry attitude. But with chicks!

Phinehas - 5/6/2009, 10:39 PM
perfect chest. eyes are all wrong though.
grif - 5/7/2009, 4:34 AM
SHe has done some modeling but as far as acting she is an unknown. But so was Reeves.

Hey at least we know that she is in the running for the role.

This isn't one of my fab casts she is in the running for the role. And appparently the csting process is quite arduous
THEHAWK - 5/7/2009, 4:38 AM
Maybe im mad..but i dont find her that attractive! I mean shes a lovely looking woman but theres just something about her i done like..she looks like a milf..even thought shes prob only in her late 20s, she looks like shes a great looking 40, know what i mean?
RorMachine - 5/7/2009, 6:14 AM
THEHAWK: She has a perfect body, not just for this role, but by any mans standards I'm sure. Her eyes however, really throw off the look. I could care less how tall the actress is, as your point about finding a 6'0 foot actress worthy of the role is accurate. I must say I love that she is so adamant about the source, as though she has read the comics for years and see's a chance to portray her superhero idol, which I can empathize with completely. If you gave her Lena Headey's face and stunning shoulders, it would be a cast sent from the comic gods themselves. My god this woman has a gorgeously sculpted body.
TheMyth - 5/7/2009, 6:24 AM
Wow, I feel sooo lucky now that I've gotten to see Wonder Woman's nipple (7th pic).

All I have to do now, is get a glimpse of The Flash's ballbag and I can live the rest of my days as a happy camper.
ElBicho - 5/7/2009, 7:19 AM
In my opinion, I would rather see a 2 hours animated wonder woman film than a 90 minutes live-action movie badly done.
Merinator - 5/7/2009, 9:26 AM
grif--right about the eyes, yo. Do these pics look like they're from the early 90's to anyone else? Like 91. and she is kinda milfy
Betty - 5/7/2009, 2:42 PM
DAMN....I feel bad for Megan Gale!!! She looks EXACTLY like wonderwoman, yet she's such a sh!tty actress she couldn't get it!

At least they are taking our movies a bit more seriously, but Megan Gale's out? really? damn.
Talontd - 5/7/2009, 4:40 PM
What makes her look milfy? Is it because she is not sluty enough? First megan should play the role, and now everyone is calling her a whore (not me). Obviously, we can see and hear Fabiola out because it sounds like some people are confused. If Fabiola can bring W.W. life and justice more power to her, if not, Wonder Woman is still out there and will put all doubts to rest. Her eyes are powerful and some people cannot handle it, and that is on them. Also, contacts on needed eye color on the right person (not necessarily Fabiola), is easier than the right eye color on the wrong actress. Wonder Woman will be successful; it's just a matter of patience.
skyflower - 5/7/2009, 7:27 PM
Thank you Skyflower. I agree completly I mean if the director is giving her a shot then I say give it a shot.

Oh and everyone calls Fox a whore because she said she would never play Wonder Woman because "She is such a lame charcter." and Fox also said "I just don't get it."
THEHAWK - 5/7/2009, 8:46 PM
Hawk,
I don't mean to be snarky and confrontational here, but what you said about Reeve is not true. He studied at Cornell and Julliard. He had done a healthy amount of stage acting before landing the role of Superman as an unknown to FILM. He was such a picky actor he often turned down bigger pictures because he felt he would be miscast or the script didn't meet his satisfaction. THis guy was a class act! A bleeding-heart liberal, but classy.

This woman? I don't know her.

Fox is still whory. She should be a pit sex-slave in the next Conan film. She might "get that".
Phinehas - 5/7/2009, 9:58 PM
Phin, I know he went to Cornell then to Europe for a while and then he went to Juliard. I was saying that he was unknown to the public, at the time he was only known for This is My Life, a soap. I was merely stating that he was unknown to the general public, he was a fresh face, something different etc etc.
THEHAWK - 5/7/2009, 10:47 PM
Maybe allot of people do not know her (Fabiola), but many said they knew megan (and all the others in the running) and what does it matter what they thought they knew, cause now she is a whore? People, where is your sense of anticipation? The element of surprise is Always a Good one!
skyflower - 5/8/2009, 10:09 AM
I may be in the minority here, but I don't think Megan Fox should be getting all the female comic book hero roles, nor be rumored for them. Fathom I get, but WW no! Personally I don't think she's that great of an actress and (I'm sure I'll get a lot of crap for this one) but I don't think she's super hot...She's attractive, but not the "I can't look at her too long because my eyeballs will melt from her hotness" hot.
Bohemiben - 5/8/2009, 10:56 AM
skyflower: "and what does it matter what they thought they knew, cause now she is a whore?"

People are calling her a whore cuz: its what she said about Wonder Woman being lame and how she didnt get it. But playing a whore on Jonah Hex she got...that is why she is being labled a whore now.

There were alot of people, me for one, who didnt think she would be good for the role of Wonder Woman from jump. Her remarks and ignorance just sealed the deal.

Bohemiben: "Fathom I get, but WW no! Personally I don't think she's that great of an actress"

You are not alone in this. As far as the "hottness factor" she is the "IT" girl right now till another one comes along.
KeepItReal - 5/8/2009, 11:34 AM
Regarding the word usage of "whore," please allow me to elaborate. I use the term loosely and not always in relation to sexual conduct. For example, I often refer to Samuel L. Jackson as a "movie whore" strictly for a liberal interpretation in that he "does any movie" (it seems) without regard to its quality or genre. I suspect he does this to stay busy(He is a former addict). Idle hands are the devil's tools after all.

I have never been supportive of the idea of Megan Fox as WW. You can peruse all WW articles if you wish to reinforce my claim. I think she may go the way of Sam Jackson because she prejudges things like WW without knowing much about it and speaking from her ignorance publicly. What a moron. She is whorish! I stand by this claim. Lets sit back and wait. We'll see her career fizzle out because of her own retardation.
Phinehas - 5/8/2009, 6:17 PM
Yes Phin yes we will.....
THEHAWK - 5/8/2009, 6:45 PM
Mmmm, i cant really see how someone not knowing much about or liking a particular comic character makes her a moron..im certainly confused as to how it makes her a Whore! Playing one in a movie or not. The chick dont dig WW guys. So what? Its not ignorance not to study up on a character. All she knew was that she flew in an invisible plane and was not invisible..to her this sounded lame so why would she do any research to the contrary? I think Flash is a bit lame because all i know about him is that hes super fast and fights villains with names like Captain Boomerang..im sure theres more to him than that, but im not that interested to find out. Does that make me ignorant?..or a whore, lol

oh and skyflower, what makes her look milfish is that she resembles a woman approaching or in her 40s that may or may not have children that i would still definately [frick]
RorMachine - 5/8/2009, 8:09 PM
How would you frick her?
skyflower - 5/8/2009, 8:56 PM
I can't see how that makes her a moron either, Rorshach. But making loose-lip judgements in publications about things she fully doesn't understand makes her stupid. A whore? Well, I'll let you put that one together and refer you to Hawk's article on the subject. Also, please reread my post. I did say I used the term loosely.
Regarding the Flash; by strict definition you are ignorant about him according to your very words. Being ignorant of any matter is not a fault. Its the stupidity that I am really focused on. If all Fox had said was, "I really don't know much about WW, except that she flys and invisible jet", we wouldn't be talking about this.
But when she said, "She's lame", Megan sealed the deal in this fan's eyes.

Why do research?

The clearest reason I can give you is that WW is the biggest female heroine in comics. She is the antithesis of Superman.
-Because she has an invisble jet, yet tons of fans is not a reason not to look into it.
On the contrary, there is a demographic here she ought to consider and pay respect. Comic book movies are big money right now. She could establish her name to a gigantic franchise and never worry about work again. Its not like 2nd class heroes like Ghost Rider or Daredevil, which you "could" hand off to the likes of so-so actors like Cage and Affleck. This is a big gun in DC arsenal. A high caliber talent is in order here.

As an aside, when I said in my previous post, "going the way of Sam Jackson" I certainly did not mean that disparagingly of him. I think he is one of Hollyweird's finest, though overused. Of Fox, I meant that she will get over-exposure in roles that will eventually stunt her acting growth. The roles will probably be akin to air-heads, tramps, and whores(in the original intent).
Phinehas - 5/8/2009, 9:23 PM
Perhaps she corrects herself (Megan Fox), but that commentary was very, very inappropiate. I wrote a post on the original HAWK's article about that, so I won't repeat it.
Merinator - 5/9/2009, 4:33 AM
Here is a link to the 'lame' article.

THEHAWK - 5/9/2009, 6:13 AM
Ok maybe she should have chosen her words better knowing it would be read by lots of (angry!) people, but i just dont see what the big deal is. My favorite character is Sandman..maybe you like him too pinehas, maybe you dont , maybe you have never even heard of him. it doesnt matter! Or to put it in a better perspective so it relates to the Fox issue, One of my favorite actors is Johhny Depp. If he said in a magazine ineterview..

"man, you know whos lame? [frick]in Sandman! Id never play him, why would i want to play some emo dream dude?"

Id say, mmmm, Johhny really doesnt get Sandman, guess hes missing out on a great role. I certainly wouldnt stop watching his movies or consider him stupid, or ignorant, just misinformed.

Skyflower would you like mental images or what? lol
RorMachine - 5/9/2009, 10:14 AM
Okay I see the older thing, but maybe that is what makes her Wonder Woman. She will always look like that; like Ralph Macchio and Dick Clark. Oh by the way, how would you frick her? In a good way I hope.
skyflower - 5/9/2009, 12:35 PM
Well, you are certainly entitled to tolerate the foolish whims of actors that speak on things they don't understand, but for me, Hollyweird arrogance is too rampant to tolerate. I think Depp is too experienced to say things of that sort. Fox is an immature kid and it is revealed by her statement. Does it mean I should excuse it because I understand that? No. Is it such a big deal that I lose sleep? No. But I think there is too much tolerance from society and not enough accountability for one's actions. People can get away with near-murder before they are scrutinized. I think that is a huge fault in Western society today. There is no discernment anymore. By saying that, I don't mean we should be behavior cops. But it does mean calling something for what it is and not sugar-coating it.

Ok, Let say she got the role, does that mean that I wouldn't go see it? Probably not. I would go see the character of WW, especially if I were made secure enough by trailers or leaked reviews that it would be something awesome.

Re: Skyflower, "frick" is word that seems to "sanitize" common vulgarity. Use your imagination.
Phinehas - 5/9/2009, 6:43 PM
hey phinehas..see thread for megan gale not being Wonder Woman please. and it's meant as non-confrontational.
KeepItReal - 5/10/2009, 1:11 PM
Ok, KIR. I responded.
Phinehas - 5/10/2009, 1:28 PM
Her face is all wrong! YIKES!!
Kane Zona - 5/10/2009, 11:55 PM
Em, yeah skyflower, a good way..(is there a bad way??)
RorMachine - 5/11/2009, 7:29 AM
To Myth: I agree with you about the gorgeously sculpted body. Also to dellamorte 1872, there is a Big difference between P.R. and begging. Noone would put their reputation on the line, just because of begging. And no studio would waste time or lose money beacause of a beggar, c'mon now. Thanks Rorschach, a break from reality by means of injection can be adventures! Hope Fabiola or the right one for the role can do Wonder Woman justice!!
skyflower - 5/13/2009, 4:28 PM
Okay, I was for giving Megan Gale a chance. Stuff happens. Like K.I.R. said, Fox's comments just sealed the deal. I'm glad she isn't going for it. What happened to Cobie Smulders? Also, Evangeline Lilly said she would like to play WW...what do you guys think?
davidcub - 5/14/2009, 6:19 PM
Evangeline lilly is perfect except because she is a bit short.
Merinator - 5/15/2009, 4:24 AM
FABIOLA IS WONDER WOMAN!!!
skyflower - 5/17/2009, 7:26 PM
Fabiola is not nor will she ever be Wonder woman. It is the same shit with Brian Austin Greene for GL. "Looking" the part is not enough. For a role of this magnitude, the actress requires either a great background of references or at the very least a natural talent! Fabiola has none of the above!!! If she had a background, we'd be talking about that and if she remotely had any natural talent, she'd have already landed the role.

Now let's talk about her looks. Roar is right, she looks 40. She doesn't look "mature" she looks OLD and there's a huge difference. WW is mature without having to look old. And the worst part of Fabiola is like most of you mentionned, her eyes! I'm not talking color here, her squinting eyes are by far the worst eyes i've seen on any WW contender, fact or fictitious (beonce included). Wonder Woman is capable of such a glare that she wouldn't need her lasso half the time to get the truth out of her adversaries. Fabiola has a "go gently with me, it's my first time" look on her which is the last thing this character needs!

Most of you know that i'm an artist that does portrait. I've explained to a few people in the past that the eyes are the windows to the soul. And in a movie, you don't have a lifetime to express what the character is all about which means that a lot is left to the glare, facial expressions and body language to translate to the masses. Xena Warrior Princess is and forever will be the very best portrayal of Wonder Woman we'll ever get until they find the perfect pick for the upcoming movie. I remember watching that series KNOWING that if Lucy Lawless didn't have those eyes or that smile, regardless of her acting abilities, the show wouldn't have survived it's first season. Watch Ralph Moeler as Conan for a perfect example. The block of concrete he calls his face doesn't really translate well to the masses as much as Arnold's face did. Arnold had a glare and such facial expressions that almost made us forget about his massive lack of acting abilities and was able to sell us Conan as a very decent character. Anybody can be a barbarian but very few can be Conan. Well the same goes for Wonder Woman. All the black hair and tanned skin in the world is meaningless if the actress can't naturally "exude" the essence of the role.

In my opinion, none surpass Lucy Lawless but realistically, she is way too old. I felt that Megan Fox had "the tools" but not the build. A decent pick was Jessica Biel BUT there is still something about her that just doesn't relate to Wonder Woman. And so far the PERFECT pick for the role is Jodi Lynn O'Keefe. She has the background as well as natural talent, she's a fighter which can already handle her own (prior to any WW training) and she seems to be blessed with the same "talent" that Lucy Lawless showed on Xena.

There is OBVIOUSLY no contest here!

hey no need to get ugly about it. I just reported that she was in the running(as in auditioning) for the part, I didn't pick her, I just reported it. Who knows, if she gets it maybe she'll knock it out of the park.
THEHAWK - 6/2/2009, 12:12 AM
Thanks HAWK,
Great Job on All your Fansite(s)!! Fabiola is a very Exotic and Beautiful Woman and we need to remember that some people like vanilla ice cream, some want chocolate, and others prefer strawberry. Some people love Pineapple on their pizza & then ther are people that only like it cold, but it is still all good! Fabiola will have her chance along with all the others, and the right choice for Wonder Woman will come to pass. Everyone relax and Ride the wave! Good luck and best wishes to everyone involved!!
shapeshifter - 6/2/2009, 9:27 AM
Who else has the body and sex appeal to play Wonder Woman, besides 'Fabiola'? Obviously it takes more than just great looks to be an actress, but the average woman is fat, and most actresses are skinny and certainly don't have the facial features or body type that this voluptuous contender.
What acting skills and experience did Linda Carter have prior to her TV role as W.W.?
If we don't get to see Fabiola as the comic book heroine, how about a new and improved (rated R) version of Bay Watch?
shapeshifter - 6/24/2009, 8:56 PM
With all these super-hero movies, why hasn't any producer/director in Hollywood put forth a modern motion picture about 'Wonder Woman'? FABIOLA is the ONE! Sure, have a few scrawny talentless skanks at the auditions, but one look at Ms. Fabiola and those of us old enough to remember will think, "Linda Carter Who?

Every "somebody/actor" was once a "nobody". Where would all the fans who love and can't wait for their heroes to portray our fantasies and dreams be if every time a "nobody" let negativity stand in their way? That is what makes the world go around, it is what the world is made of, people who persevered and endured and became a "somebody!
