VIDEO GAMES: Star Wars: The Complete Saga by OP114

Next year will be the 35th anniversary of George Lucas' sci-fi epic Star Wars. Here's an idea I cooked up for a video game that explores every episode of the Star Wars saga. Fan-Made box art included!

"A Long time ago in a galaxy far, far away"

The game is composed of six stages: The Phantom Menace, Attack of the Clones, Revenge of the Sith, A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. In each stage, there are 12 levels. In each level, you'll be fighting Sith Lords, blasting TIE Fighters and podracing your way to victory!

"May the force be with you..."

In every stage in Story Mode, you will be playing a force-wielding, lightsaber-carrying character. The character can either be a Jedi, like Luke Skywalker, or a Sith, like Darth Maul. Using the same gameplay as Star Wars: The Force Unleashed, you'll possess amazing force powers like lightning, push and mind trick. The force-wielding characters can also possess one lightsaber, two lightsabers or a duel-bladed lightsaber. Extra Jedi & Sith characters are unlockable for multiplayer and DLC.

"I want to be the first one to see them all!"

The game will also take you to various worlds, such as Naboo, Tatooine and Endor. As you beat each level, you unlock every planet you visit and those planets will be available for multiplayer as well. Extra planets are available for DLC.

"Red Five, standing by!"

Throughout the game, you will pilot many vehicles, from swoop bikes to podracers, from X-Wings to ARC-170s, from Snowspeeders to Y-Wing fighters. As you beat each level, you unlock every vehicle you pilot and those vehicles will be available for multiplayer as well. Extra vehicles are available for DLC.

"Look at the size of that thing!"

Previous LucasArts games such as Star Wars: Rogue Squadron III - Rebel Strike and Star Wars: Battlefront have included scenes from all six Star Wars movies as cutscenes. This game will be doing the same thing, including scenes from all six movies as cutscenes, but this time around, in full 1080p HD form.

"This is where the fun begins!"

Multiplayer is included in this game. LIGHTSABER DUELS will allow the player to either play a force-wielding character unlocked and/or downloaded from this game or create their own force-wielding character a la Jedi Academy. BLASTER MODE allows you to choose a blaster character, like Han Solo or Commander Cody, with a wide variety of weapons. INTERGALACTIC DOGFIGHT allows the player to choose a starship or starfighter above a planet in any SW battle. PODRACE allows the players to race against other pods on planets like Tatooine, Coruscant and orther planets.

So...what do you think?

As a Star Wars geek, this could just be my dream come true, and of course I'm totally buying this if it ever be! Actually I've had an idea for something like this too back several years ago, lol. Probably the levels should be mixed between the Jedis and troopers, so we can enjoy both lightsaber adventures (a la The Force Unleashed as you've said above) and shooting galore (a la the Battlefront series), and not only for fun's sake - you know, not all of the movies feature the equal amount of Jedis in action that can be easily translated into a game; especially the original movies. However, as for the idea, we're on the same boat. :)

It'd be cool to see a Multiplay mode similar to that of Rush or Conquest in Battlefield...idk exactly how it would work but i would def play the crap out of it...both story mode and online...GEORGE LUCAS...MAKE THIS SH*T HAPPEN!!

This is a great idea, almost exactly what I have been thinking. I think the game could be improved even further if they had multiple story modes. One, such as the OP said where you have a unique story mode. You could also add a second mode where it follows the storyline of the saga exactly. Similar to the Lego Star Wars game, but with life-like gameplay. Nobody has done that before, only snippets of the movies or alternate story lines. It would be a definite buy in my opinion. So do whatever it takes to get this idea to Lucasarts and get this in production!
