According to Latino Review, Drew Goddard, is no longer working on Marvel's Daredevil Netflix series. This news might even be more shocking than Edgar Wright departing Ant-Man, as Goddard has proclaimed his love for the Man Without Fear numerous times in interviews before being attached to the project.

The Report Reads as Follows:

More bad news this holiday weekend. According to sources, award winning writer/director Drew Goddard has left Marvel's Daredevil. Due to the fact that it is a holiday, calls to his reps at UTA can't be returned till Tuesday at the earliest. Goddard was supposed to write and direct the first episode of Daredevil, while also serving as series Showrunner and Executive Producer for the 13-episode series premiering on Netflix in 2015.

You dumbasses are just asking for another 20 pages of trolling and pathetic ground control.
ALegendaryPanda - 5/24/2014, 10:42 AM
What the [frick]??!
Mrcool210 - 5/24/2014, 10:43 AM
my guess is its because he wanted to focus more on the sinister six film. Maybe marvel wanted him to work more on their project. Still this isn't a good sign for marvel. Norton, rourke, wright and now goddard all leaving marvel? and people say fox and sony have to much control. Looks to me that marvel studios is just as bad
MrBlackjack - 5/24/2014, 10:43 AM
Most of you guys probably don't even give a shit but rather are just pretending to. smh.
DEVLIN712 - 5/24/2014, 10:43 AM
Shit... What?!
ALegendaryPanda - 5/24/2014, 10:43 AM
What is happening with Marvel right now?!
MrBlackjack - 5/24/2014, 10:44 AM
No, not you BMH.
Spidey91 - 5/24/2014, 10:44 AM

we're 9 movies in, I think Marvel Studios got their sh*t together long before anyone else.
TheRationalNerd - 5/24/2014, 10:44 AM
(Good Times) "Damn! Damn! Damnnnnn!!!" Please don't tell me that it's Marvel's limiting the creative control of these guys from getting their visions across.
Mrcool210 - 5/24/2014, 10:44 AM
and yes, i like all of the studios, but none of them are perfect, all have their faults. Marvels just seem to be thanks to their whole cinematic universe they have even more control then they should (imo)
DEVLIN712 - 5/24/2014, 10:44 AM
But... that's two in two days?
MrBlackjack - 5/24/2014, 10:44 AM
Damn, this was the show I was looking forward to the most.
ScorpioRisin - 5/24/2014, 10:45 AM
Man, I'm trolling just for fun, but I'm seriously bummed out. I was REALLY looking forward to DD and Ant-man.
Luminus - 5/24/2014, 10:45 AM
What the heck is going on? Marvel had better call a surgeon and stop the bleeding, stat!
DEVLIN712 - 5/24/2014, 10:45 AM
I think @MrCool is right, a big film like S6 is much more important to Goddard
MightOfMagneto - 5/24/2014, 10:45 AM
Meanwhile @ Fox

Damn, Marvel isn't having a good time are they?
Loosing two very talented filmmakers in two days.
TheRationalNerd - 5/24/2014, 10:46 AM
I wonder if Ant-Man and Daredevil were meant to encounter each other within the show? Would be pretty dope!
DEVLIN712 - 5/24/2014, 10:46 AM
Marvel are pissing off directors at a 1:1 ratio
DEVLIN712 - 5/24/2014, 10:47 AM
In all of three days, Fox and Marvel have switched positions...

HAHA! True.
DukeAcureds - 5/24/2014, 10:47 AM
My world is crumbling.
They were the two Marvel projects I was really excited about.
Now I'm not excited for either one.
Age of Ultron is all that's left.

I'll bet Fox has been doing some dark Juju magic to put a curse on Disney/Marvel.
Well it's fvcking working!
SexySnorlax1 - 5/24/2014, 10:48 AM
Wasn't filming supposed to start in like a month?

Does this mean we might end up with getting A.K.A. Jessica Jones first, cuz it looks like its the only one of the four shows that has it's shit together
Spidey91 - 5/24/2014, 10:48 AM
we don't know of MARVEL pissed him off or something like that, we don't know of this is even true , not until tuesday apparently.
Vegeta - 5/24/2014, 10:48 AM
Well, I wasn't expecting this, especially not after the whole Edgar Wright thing.
MrCBM - 5/24/2014, 10:48 AM
Ok. WHAT. THE. [frick].
TheRationalNerd - 5/24/2014, 10:48 AM
They'll get it back on track guys. It's only a matter of time before they find someone else. However we gotta keep the faith alive that it'll be someone with a great vision AND compassion for the character. I'm not a huge daredevil fan myself but it is a character I would love to see handled extremely well.
MrBlackjack - 5/24/2014, 10:49 AM
This isn't as much of a critical loss of loosing right though. With Antman suppose to be out in just a little over a year and production needing to happen soon, that's a big concern. Although with this, he was only on for one episode, and shooting a television series is much cheaper and quicker than a film. Overall, something like this happening on a television level isn't as bad as it occurring on a film level because television is just much more flexible.
MrCBM - 5/24/2014, 10:50 AM
@Klone What did you think of DOFP?
Mrcool210 - 5/24/2014, 10:50 AM
@shadowpimp Goddard directing Ant Man and Sinster Six at once? Leaving a netflix show with a limited budget to direct 2 big movies (for 2 different studios) probably at the same time? i doubt that
ScorpioRisin - 5/24/2014, 10:51 AM
Fox is using the Lord of Light's power to destroy the other studios.
