Superman XXX: Behind the Scenes Video

Whatever you may think of the films themselves, there's no question that Superman XXX director Axel Braun, who also helmed Batman XXX, is determined that his films capture the look and feel of the subject being parodied.

Comics/Comic Book Movies turned into porn?! Awesome..Is there anything else from my childhood porn can take away and ruin for me??
Ranger14 - 9/20/2010, 6:47 PM
blurrdvision@ Yeah, pretty sad and pathetic as far as I am concerned too. This kind of news does nothing but fuel the bad rap some people give this site.
TheRedeemer - 9/20/2010, 6:54 PM

The amount of attention being paid to this movie and the Batmanxxx on this site seems a bit much to me. I know that technically speaking it is a movie with superheroes in it but...well it's a friking PORNO movie! Ok, one article or a "age appropriate" trailer I can understand, other sites did the same, but multiple posts and galleries for a porno movie about Superman? Truthfully if I want to see pics or a trailer for this I'll go to a site where I can see the good stuff. Guess I'm just saying there is other news to post than a daily update on Superman and his wang. Don't take this as a "Pornography is bad" rant either, cause it ain't. I just think this site should devote itself to COMIC BOOK MOVIES.
blueorangeny - 9/20/2010, 9:25 PM
@ Ed - Once again we have a few people giving their opinion which honestly we don't give a [frick]. You put out enough news that this cbm porno does not over shadow cbm info. If people complain that there's other news well shit you and other do comply with it. But a very simple thing that can do to avoid this, simply by pass the article. It's simple you don't have to see it and we don't have to hear your sorry ass complain.

At the end, [frick] Ed it's about cb's keep posting.

Like I said sports, cb's and women. The 3 things I love, what else can you ask for.
blueorangeny - 9/20/2010, 9:30 PM
Just saw the behind the scenes vid you posted. Again great job, the director spoke about making the flick. They showed bits of the classic 78' balcony scene. The best thing is, Ed nothing you posted broke any rules. There was not any nudity or excessive scenes, so to the one's bitching. Shut the [frick] up, just by pass the article.
EdGross - 9/21/2010, 2:12 AM
Thanks to those throwing support my way. Truth is that over the past week I've posted 25 stories, two of which were devoted to Superman XXX.
marvel72 - 9/21/2010, 2:38 AM

@ gunsmith

i think they get away with it with the word parody, even the s on his chest, isn't the same as the famous superman logo.
jazzman - 9/21/2010, 5:08 AM
why people keep on complaining about this superhero porn parody. all other film news or comic book websites has mention this and other porn parody films.
TheDemonHunter - 9/21/2010, 6:29 AM
Personally I don't mind that the site covers this stuff once in a while. Superhero porn isn't my thing, but to each their own. It's newsworthy.

I have to question why Ed put up two separate stories though. If it's a matter of timing, then why not just add the pics as an edit to the original article? They went up what, an hour apart? And then seriously, what made them both a big enough deal to make front page? Two of our top six stories here right now are about a superman porn. Is it really that slow a news day out there that this needed to be up front for new visitors to the site?
Angelus - 9/21/2010, 7:14 AM
This is the faulest blasphemy!

EdGross - 9/21/2010, 7:52 AM
DemonHunter, you're absolutely right, that was a mistake on my part. I'll watch for that type of thing in the future.
blueorangeny - 9/21/2010, 7:55 AM
@ TheDemonHunter - It isn't that it's our thing, cb porn. Well I believe I can speak for everyone. We just find it funny on how Vivid and others attempt a porn version of our cb favorites. We love porn! but WE especially love the porn chicks (I do have my favorites and I know we all do), What man wouldn't? If you deny this then you complete bull or I just feel sorry for you. Now I speak for myself. TheDemonHunter what makes it even better is when your gf loves it too, she's open to dressing up for you as Supergirl, Wonderwoman and Catwoman. Trust me you'll be begging Ed to continue with cb parody. It will only give you ideas so you can bring into your bedroom and your chick (again if you do have a gf) takes care of you.

Regards to Ed, Ed has posted enough material. He doesn't solely cb porn parody and as long as it's nothing excessive as far as actual photos or footage. Keep it coming Ed!

@ blueorangeny:

" what makes it even better is when your gf loves it too, she's open to dressing up for you as Supergirl, Wonderwoman and Catwoman. Trust me you'll be begging Ed to continue with cb parody."

hahhahahaha my thoughts exactly... exactly the reason I get excited every time Ed post these

@ ed:
Keep it up and don't let anyone dissuade you from reporting Comic Book Movie news on a site called B/c that is exactly what this is, CBM news. Thanks.
theartofoneness - 9/21/2010, 9:39 AM
This is lame, these xxx parodies are not cool. Its really not something this site should be covering in my opinion. this is movie news, movies are casual entertainment. Porn is sexual. I think kids probably come to this site too because its for comic book movies! I just think the xxx crosses a line and turns whatever it is we do here into something much more disturbing.
superman7 - 9/21/2010, 10:39 AM
all i have to say is freedom of the press to everyone who says this kind of thing shouldn't be posted.

Seriously, the site details all things media related to Superheroes and comic books. This article deals with comic book superheroes in one medium. Therefore it should be posted.

Now some of you say that children frequent this site and this material could upset their fragile innocent minds.

1. this doesn't show any more skin than you can find in any magazine at the check out of a grocery store
2. The children who don't have a concept of porn yet should not be on the net unsupervised
3. the kids who already have an understanding of porn have seen MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH worse than this. Seriously, do you have ANY IDEA what kids in middle schools are talking about today. I just found out what a blue waffle was from a 12 year old.

Ranger14 - 9/21/2010, 10:56 AM
I don't recall saying I didn't like porn. If CBM wants to post this stuff, all the power to them, but lately CBM has been getting bashed quite a bit out there for lack of credibility and not being a very reliable news site. Posting CBM porn articles doesn't help for rebuilding or establishing a better reputation. If many of the posters don't care about CBM's reputation, then so be it. The powers at be should be somewhat concerned about it though.

"all other film news or comic book websites has mention this and other porn parody films."

This is the only one I go to that does.
blueorangeny - 9/21/2010, 12:10 PM
@ Ranger14 - so I guess you're assed out, no more cb sites for you.

@ theartofoneness - I won't even respond to your comment because it just doesn't make sense any longer. Just bypass the article, enough said.
DaiRaion - 9/22/2010, 11:00 AM
The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines "Debased" as "to lower in status, esteem, quality, or character". And although the "XXX" films are labeled as "parody", even non comic book fans will clearly recognize that it's DC Comics' most iconic heroes who are being lowered in character.

I'm not a regular poster here, but I am a regular visitor. And, for the most part, I enjoy reading the news and opinions that contributors, such as yourself Ed, work to bring us. But instead of treating (or embracing) the "XXX" films as legitimate comic book movie news, I would hope that, for what these characters are to so many of us, the fans would respond to them the way that DC Comics SHOULD have from the outset:

Protecting our heroes.
