It's almost that time of the month where the sequel to last year's hit video game Disney Infinity, Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) will hit stores everywhere. If you still need a bit more convincing about getting the game, then look no futher because Amazon.com is offering pre-orders on an exclusive bundle for Disney Infinity 2.0 and it's very enticing.

Amazon is currently listing what they call the Disney Infinity 2.0 Marvel Premium Value Pack exclusively for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Aside from including a Power Disc Pack packed with two Power Discs and the standard Starter Pack that features Avengers Iron Man, Thor and Black Widow, you can bring home a bonus three more figures. These separate figures consist of the star-spangled Captain America, the vicious symbiote Venom and everyone's favorite Rocket Racoon from Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy now playing in theaters.

But it doesn't stop there because this isn't just any ordinary bundle! Pre-order now and it'll come with the Spider-Man Play Set including your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man and the Human Rocket known as Nova figures. Now the reason this is a hot deal is not because the total price for the combined contents sums up to a whopping $156.94 (who would want to pay that?). No, the real reason is because Amazon is actually not selling it for that amount. Instead, the online retailer is cutting 24% off to shrink it into $119.99. $36.94 is cut off and that price is almost exactly the same price Amazon is charging for the standalone Spider-Man Play Set. Which means, if you pre-order the Marvel Premium Value Pack now on Amazon, it's only going to cost about $2 for the Spider-Man Play Set!

Disney Infinity: Marvel Super Heroes (2.0 Edition) is scheduled to be released for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Xbox One, Xbox 360, PC and iOS in North America on September 23, 2014.

I wonder if Star Wars characters will eventually be in Disney Infinity.

@Lozzy

The developers have said in an interview that they had a choice between Star Wars and Marvel, Marvel won out so expect Star Wars next year with the movie. Thats my bet at any rate.

I thought this was a mobile game. They are releasing this for the console... They couldn't make something not so cartoony. Geez...

@ Pasto

Yeah this game is right up your alley, but are you sure your fellow 16 year old buds will not ridicule you for playing this?

I wish the good Spider-Man stuff would come back. Late 90's early 2000's was such a great time period for Spidey.

the hell is infinity?
GeekyCheekyChic - 8/15/2014, 1:00 PM
Great deal. How does Infinity work ? Can you actually play this game without but 15$ figures ?

This game is actually fun. Love how people judge here without even knowing what the game is or about.
